Arizona Golf Resort
Played On 11/18/2020No wonder it is so cheap
Okay I’m a golf snob and I shouldn’t have played here. Weak conditions. Greens are patchy with tuffs of rye grass and then nothing. Poor overseeding throughout the course. Cart paths are in play on multiple holes. This is a course for beginners and uber high handicappers.
I will never be back.
Las Sendas Golf Club
Played On 10/27/2020A very nice day Oct 27th
A cool temp day in the valley meant limited players. Teed off at 11:00 and our 3 some was done in by 2:30. Only their 4th day after reopening. All the greens except number 17 look and roll nice. They are a little slow but that’s to be expected. The fairways on 15, 17 and 18 have some areas that need more TLC but overall it is very playable already.

Lone Tree Golf Club
Played On 10/23/2020Got wet on a blue sky day.
Lone Tree has real problems with the overseeding on their greens. Very patchy. Good growth in areas and bare on up to 40% of the putting greens. Fairways and fringe areas are okay. Not the best but okay.
The sprinkler system come on for holes 12 thru 15 This included greens. Took 40 mins to correct the problem which ruined the round for our group.
Longbow Golf Club
Played On 02/08/2017Okay course but not great value
Overall a fair golf course but not worth more than $75 per round at most. The very flat terrain does get boring. Many people will be bothered by the nonstop small aircraft landing and taking off from Falcon field. Within our round you average a noisy low level plane every couple minutes. As it has been over the last few years many of the traps are too firm with far too many rocks in them.
On the plus side the greens are as good as any in the valley.
