North Course at Pheasant Run Golf Club
Played On 09/18/2014Great Course, Great Value
I would call Pheasant Run my home golf course. No matter how many times I play this course, I want to come back for more. It may come to no surprise that it is my favorite course in Southeast, MI. The course seems to always be in good to great condition and is very well maintained. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are well kept and fast. I play this course at least 3 to 4 times a month and can't remember having a bad experience. West can be a little long, South in my opinion is the toughest and North is a little easier than the other two. I like that the holes are spread out from each other. You don't play into other holes/golfers very often which is always nice. If you spray the ball there are a few holes where you will get into trouble with water, woods, etc. The one downfall is it has many holes with houses bordering, which means if you hit it far enough you may be in someones backyard or worse in there window. I would recommend this course to anyone that is in the Southwest Detroit region!
Hudson Mills Metro Park
Played On 07/18/2014Pleasantly Suprised
This was my first time playing the course, I took my brother and a buddy out for their birthdays. I booked it for $20 a piece on a hot deal. I really had no idea what to expect and for that price I wasn't expecting a great course. I thought that the green and tee boxes were well maintained and was happy with the conditions of the fairways. The greens are pretty fast and roll true, which is one of the best qualities of Hudson Mills. A few of the fairways on the back 9 looked like they needed a trim but other than that, I was impressed with the grooming of the course. The course is a little short and has a decent amount of wooded areas and tall grass. Each of us lost a few balls due to some tight areas. Overall, I enjoyed playing this course and for a price like that I definitely will play there again!
Coyote Golf Club
Played On 5/17/2013Great course, great value
Coyote is one of my favorite courses in South east Detroit. Every time I have played here it has been in pristine condition. I do think the course is pretty challenging though. There are quite a few hazards and if you've never played here before and don't know what to expect on certain holes you will be losing balls. #18 especially. Not too many blind shots and the pace of play was great we weren't slowed down one time. Overall I rated this course a five because the staff was very friendly, the course was in great condition and it was inexpensive.
Hawk Hollow Championship Golf Course - Front 9/Middle 9
Played On 4/5/2013Great staff and great features
When golfing Hawk Hollow a few things really stood out to me. The first was how friendly the staff was. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and were extremely polite. The course is in very good condition and is pretty challenging. There is quite a bit of water on this course and some of the fairways are tight but it adds to the experience. I only lost a couple balls so overall it was a good experience. In terms of value I thought the rate was extremely fair and would definitely recommend this course to a friend. If you are looking for a challenge at a fair price Hawk Hollow is a great choice.
Timber Ridge Golf Course

This is a very nice course, it has great scenery and isn't overly challenging. The course was in good/great condition and the pace of play was around 4 hours which was perfect. I would definitely recommend this course to a friend and will play it again.
