HORRID CONDITION OF COURSE!!

A tragedy with all the money spent over past 10 years to witness the condition of this course.. This reminds me of 2004/06 days where people would walk off the course after playing first hole to request their money back.

"Pot holes" in fairways........greens don't even look like they are being watered. The worst are the many sand traps having six/eight inch weeds growing through them after they spent the past eight years re doing most of the sand traps. They filled in sand traps on 16th hole and did a POOR job of seeding over so its very obvious there were sand traps there at one point.

Just an absolute shame to see how the condition of the course has deteriorated in a short time. Probably Pandemic related with giving adequate maintenance.

I would only play again for $20.

At under $20, a great deal

Played the course for the first time. Course is a great buy under $20 but I would hesitate at their non Golfnow rate at $23.
If you keep the ball in the fairway like your supposed to the course is in good condition. However, there seems to be a lack of maintenance on the tee's and in some rough areas where they have done some reconstruction. Didn't seem like they overseeded the tees in the fall as some of them are in bad shape. Can't figure out if the greens are sand based or not.
As they played very slow and have a "soft" feel to them when you walking on them.
I am anxious to play this course again in June to see how they irrigate the course. Overall, a pretty good value if you can get under $20. Not as good of a value as or in the condition as Deeer Creek just south of them, though if you can score a $12/$15 rate, go for it. You will have some enjoyment.

What a trajedy this course has turned into.

This course was arguably for many years (up until four/five years ago) one of the best conditioned/maintained/prettiest golf courses in the southwest suburbs. How the membership and homeowner association could allow this course to fall into such dis repair so fast is simply perplexing. The conditions of the greens are horrible. Crab grass and other species of weeds around greens and tees that have excessive divots. Irrigation around tee's/greens seems very inconsistent to the point where you wonder whether some irrigation stations around the greens are even operable.
I have to believe it is due to some sort of cut in maintenance as having played there for the first time in five years was simply gut wrenching.
The ownership/membership better come to some quick conclusion on a remedy. $35 golf rounds on Golfnow is not the answer. It is simply NOT worth $35. And to think they charge $90 on the weekends is simply comic.
Shame on the ownership/membership to allow this "once gem" go into so much dis repair.
Not to feel bad for the once million dollar homeowners around the course (now worth $600/$700K) but are you not concerned about your continued plummet in your housing value on top of the fact of with what has been happening to the course?
