I had played the course last year and came back to play it again. The fairways were in terrible condition; very spotty grass-wise. Bunkers were pretty good in terms of amount of sand and being maintained. The greens were soft but very slow.

I was part of a 3some and my wife came to ride along. I was charged $25 for her to ride along, even though there wasn't a 4th who could have used to spot in the cart. Bad customer service......

My son got a recommendation to play this course from a friend. I made the 1 hour drive up based on his input - am I ever glad I did! Native Oaks is nestled in a valley just outside Escondido - you don't know it's there until you literally pull up to it.

I'm a 69 year old average (15 handicap) golfer who doesn't hit it a mile and this course was perfect for my game. The white tees play around 5900 yards and were a perfect distance for me.

The greens were the highlight of the round - running around 11 mid-week, soft and putted true - can't ask for anything more than that! The variation of holes was welcoming - the front 9 was designed 5 years ahead of the back 9 so they play very differently - the front is more forgiving, the back tighter and more penalty-driven for errors made, particularly on approach shots. The front is more of a links style and the back traverses woodlands and trees on every hole.

The staff, from Tom in the pro shop to Jim the starter to the snack bar people, were extremely friendly and made you feel welcome. Full bar service and good food in the Shawii kitchen! I would highly recommend

This was my 1st time playing Carlton Oaks. There are enough tee positions to meet your level of player. I found the fairways a little sparse grass-wise but definitely playable.

The greens rolled nicely even with being aerated in the past month. There is a lot of fall tree damage around the course to be removed but it didn't hinder play.

Overall a course I would play again and well worth the price of the round!

My friend and I played North Shore Golf Club yesterday - it was the 1st time at that course for both of us but definitely won't be the last!

From the initial very friendly greeting in the pro shop to the final after-round drinks served up by Donna at the Grille, this was an outstanding day at a well-kept course.

The tees and fairways were well-maintained with no evidence of weeds and plenty of healthy growth. The greens looked like no one had ever played on them - very few ball marks, thick green turf and they rolled true!

I would not hesitate to play this course any time that I can - a real golfing pleasure!

December 22nd in Indianapolis is not normally golfing weather but today obliged so out I went!

Saddlebrook greens were in great shape and extremely fast! You can see where winter maintenance is happening all around the course so expect so less than great lies but overall a great value for the round. Bunkers, as most courses are these days, are not really playable due to time of year and lack of play during COVID.

For December this might have been the best value I've seen in Indianapolis!

The course was in pristine condition and there was no one on it - unbelievable for a 55 degree day!

Greens rolled true, fairways were great and even the rough was maintained. The only area that was in winter condition were the traps - no grooming anymore.

I would play this one every day if possible until it snows!

Course is tough but fair - greens were very firm, rolled true and fast!

Bunkers need work but management said that is coming soon - great hidden gem!

Played PV for the 3rd time in 3 weeks and it keeps getting better! Fairways have dried out and the greens are rolling great! Super bargain at Fall rates - get out and enjoy!

Played the course after a previous day of rain. The course drains very well, particularly the bunkers. Greens were a little hard to read but rolled very well for late October. I would highly recommend this course for late season play!

Some very good deals in the clubhouse for end of season - golf shoes, clothes, etc.

I had heard about this course from a number of friends but never had the opportunity to play it.

What a mistake in not finding this course before!

For late October (and 2" of rain the previous 2 days) the course was in great shape; fairways were manicured, traps were in good shape and the greens rolled very well. I definitely recommend playing the appropriate tees based on your handicap and age - this course can bite you if you don't!

My first time ever playing this course; I picked it based on prior reviews and they were spot on!

From arrival and being greeted by Adam in the clubhouse to loading my clubs after the round this was a value that was exceptional. I was paired with another gentleman and we played in 3.5 hours - excellent pace of play. The course was challenging from the blue tees and the hole variations outstanding. The only downside was the greens had been topdressed that morning; maintenance of the course is required so you deal with it.

Overall an outstanding value for golf in Orlando in February!

This course has been around for a while but seems like a new course to me! I had not played it in decades and decided to give it a try - boy am I glad I did!

The course is extremely playable, yet challenging. The greens were in excellent shape - undulating but rolling true.

Fairways were outstanding, considering it was Fall.

There were very few people on the course so pace of play was outstanding. I would highly recommend this course to anyone; if it wasn't so far away from my house this would be my home course!
