To our surprise, the greens had recently been aerated and top dressed. The putting surfaces were shaggy, bumpy and very slow. It would be nice if Golfnow would find a way to let customers know when conditions like these exist on their participating courses. If we had known, we would have played elsewhere.

The greens were in good shape. Many of the tee boxes were basically dirt, little or no grass. For being March in Florida, the cost for playing was good value.

The course was in very good condition. The pace of play was painfully slow.

We had beautiful weather in the mid 80's. Overall, the course was in good shape. However, the teeing area on the range was pitiful...dirt and weeds. Some of the tee boxes on the course were also sketchy. The greens were generally good.

The greens were exceptionally slow and bumpy. They played like temporary greens. There were dead grass areas on virtually every fairway. It appeared as if the fairway mowers had leaked oil or gas that killed the grass.

The course was in excellent condition. However, the day was spoiled by slow play. We had to wait before hitting every shot. The group in front of us was two couples. It appeared that one of the women was a beginner. Her partner was giving her lessons before nearly every shot.
There was no starter and there were no Marshalls on the course.

The course was in good condition. Greens were on the slow side. Like the layout especially the back nine.

We teed off at 2:00 pm and had to quit at 5:30 pm after playing just 13 holes. We waited on every shot. No surprise. It’s that time of year. Enjoyed the layout and the course was in good shape.

Enjoyed the course but play was excruciatingly slow. There were two singles ahead of us. We waited on every hole. Could have used some marshals patrolling the fairways.

My golf partner and I really enjoyed playing River Wilderness. Played it for the first time last Friday and came back today. A few tee boxes were bare and some greens had crabgrass. Nevertheless, we loved the layout and hospitality of the staff
