Wolf Creek Golf Club
Played On 04/13/2018Just when I thought it couldn’t get better
I have played Wolf Creek the last three years with buddies and the conditions have never been better. I am such a big fan because you just don’t see the special landscape anywhere combined with terrific course conditions and a really fun staff. I have seen some of the same guys check me in for the last couple years. All the clubs in the bag are used resulting in some terrific fun. We play pretty quick at our flat ordinary home track. However, Wolf creek is far from normal and the typical 5 hour round was what we expected and what we have been told for the past 3 years. If your looking for the 4 hour private club pace of play at Wolf Creek you wont find it but if your a true golf lover you never want this round to end. One of the top courses I have ever played and will be back again year after year.
Falcon Ridge Golf Club
Played On 03/23/2018Beautiful Golf Course
Had a great time at Falcon Ridge. It is a unique course similar to Wolf Creek minus all the well deserved accolades. The tees and fairways are really good. The greens look good but were a little bumps with lots of different shades of green. You wont be disappointed playing this beauty, overall a great experience.

This course is so much fun to play. The elevation drops, the green canyons below, red sand cliffs and the bright white bunkers are an amazing backdrop for golf and photos. The course is in impeccable shape. Its Disney because of the anticipation of an incredible day of golf you don't see anywhere in the world. It certainly lives up to all the hype. The conditions, Service, and friendly down-home atmosphere makes the day complete.
Chimera Golf Club
Played On 06/03/2016nice course but sort or ordinary
It is a golf course surrounded by a community. Like most courses in Las Vegas. Nothing wrong with the layout just nothing special. Greens were framed well by bunkers, tee boxes were in good shape with the exception of some of the par 3s, greens had some nice undulations and were decent speed but a little bumpy. Pace of play was around 5 hours but seemed a lot longer. That was just me. I feel the staff could have been a little more attentive and friendly. Felt sort of ordered around. Very basic amenities. All in all I would say a good course to warm up before playing some of the other courses.

Having read all the reviews I had very high expectations rolling into the parking lot. They have a nice welcome station to drop off clubs and get instructions. Those manning the station were attentive and informative. The range is perfect for warming up. If you are looking for an all day practice area this isn't it. The golf shop is very well stocked with the latest and greatest. I had to get a shirt with that logo. Standing on the first tee gives you a good idea of what is in store for you. Many elevated tee boxes with the well manicured fairways below. Course was in great shape. I found that some holes driver isn't required and most likely not the smart shot. Greens were smooth but a touch slower. It could have been the time of year or that there is just to many undulations on the green to keep them too fast. We were told it should take us 5 hours and it did, but it really didn't seem like it. I could have played another 18 if we didn't need to get back to Vegas. I am very pleased to say it lived up to the hype and then some. I have never seen a course like this.
