A Stadium course

The Oxfordshire is a sculpted stadium / resort course that is nice to play. Not traditional but a good challenge with some good holes.
The fairways and light rough are wide so not too hard to find your ball and nots lots of looking in woods and deep rough. A fair bit of water but no real forced carries.
When we played there the greens had been cored and sandy so not too good to put on, what was bad was 5at there was no liners in the holes so they looked tatty and didn’t,to play well. The rest of the course was fine.
We played off the whites at 6800 and it is long So you do need to be a solid hitter. The yellows are A nice length for general play
Bar and clubhouse were nicely presented. Only problem we had was that there was a large loud group of golfers. They demonstrated the drinking and social distancing don’t go together very well. Not a reflection on the club.
The standout hole was the 17th, so many ways to play it
Would definitely play there again
