Victory Hills Golf Course
Played On 05/01/2016Nice local course
This course can be challenging at times. The time we played here it rained heavily for about 15 minutes and the course was soaked. Other than that it was a great time out and will go back.
Quicksilver Golf Club
Played On 04/23/2016Great course for a challenge
This course was in great shape and challenging. The greens were quick and the rough was thick. The only downside for this course was the GPS in the cart. For our group it was off most of the time. Also at the turn, there were 4 groups backed up which allowed for a long round. All in all, I will go back to visit this course again.
Nemacolin Woodlands Resort - Links Course
Played On 8/11/2013Felt like a mini vacation
First of golfnow customer service was able to resolve the booking issue when trying online and they were great. The course itself is amazing and talking about The Links not Mystic Rock. The scenic view on each hole makes your round exciting and felt like a getaway. You can see most of the resort throughout the course (i.e. petting zoo, lake, mystic rock). First thing you notice is when you approach the clubhouse the attendant takes your bag and places them in a cart for you to just get on the course once you checked in. This is unique for courses I have played before. Anyway the only downside was it poured 2 days prior and some spots were pretty bad and the ball plugged. Also maybe about 2 holes you kinda guess where to hit the ball, the thing that did help was the carts had GPS and a flyover on the screen for every hole. Hope this helps!
Maple Crest Golf Course
Played On 5/4/2013Only a 9 hole course very very short, NOT 18 HOLES!
only good part was the fact no one was there and pace was fast. ended up playing a real course later in the day. The course was compacted and every hole on the 9 hole course was driveable. It says 18 tees but in reality you play the same holes twice so i guess you can say 36 tees just play the 9 hole course 4 times. Not worth the drive, time, or money to play. Can find 10x better course for the price. If you like a short course, only 9 holes, play the same holes over again this course is definitely for you. If you like a challenge, a real course with 18 different holes this course is not for you. Won't be going back again, but ended up being a live and learn experience.
Victory Hills Golf Course
Played On 06/02/2012Great Course with exciting holes
I play this course about twice a month and is one of my go to courses. The first hole is great teeing off a tee box high up and letting the ball fly to the fairway below. For the rest of the holes, they are all great minus some obstructions. 2nd hole you have a chance at hitting power lines approaching the green and there are alot of trees as well. If you like a semi challenging course with no holes alike this is the course for you. If you do not like courses that have alot of trees and fast greens it would not be for you, As mentioned the greens are fast real fast. Hope this helps!
