Everything was perfect about my round on Mother's Day. The course was in impeccable shape. Pace of play was also perfect played in 3 1/2 hours just in time for happy hour.

Course was in great shape and the green were perfect except for maybe two. Pro shop, starter and bar servers were very pleasant. Disappointed that there was no bev service that day and the only refills of drinking water were from a fountain and not from a supplied iced down water cooler. Would definitely make the drive from Venice again to play the course again.

This course never has been found in bad shape. As the many times I have played it you can really see no neglect. Tee boxes to greens were impeccable considering the lack of rain in the area. My only issue with myself on this one was that I never listened after my first 3 putt how fast the greens were. Should have shaved off at least 5 more strokes!

Had not played the course for several years. Found the course better than most reviews. Greens were in great shape and even were fast after a 25 minute wait from a downpour of showers. I have no complaints except a 4-some that we caught up to and would not let us as a 3-some pass them. We decided to skip that par 3 and found that this group was now 3 holes behind US. Also better signage needs to be done on Burnt Store road leading you into the course as roads were done and they lack TRUE SIGNAGE.

This course has always been in great shape for play. Greens putt true. Wind comes into play on some of the holes which makes it somewhat harder to get on the Par 4's in 2 shots. So nice to see that there is a resurgence in home building at the club as just a few years back it looked like a ghost-town.Staff in clubhouse and on the course was superior.

My husband and I played in 2 hours and 35 minutes all because of really little play this early in the FL season. We were warned that the condition of some of the greens were terrible. Found the rough a bit high.
I love this course but due to the hurricanes that have swept through the area along with the harsh rains continues were not the greatest. But for the price we had no reason to complain. The course condition was less than perfect but we understood because the staff needed to pay attention to the downed trees.

No complaints. Pace of play was great and we were paired up with 2 extremely nice gentleman which made the round even better.

All good things with no negatives at this beautiful FL course. Will return.

Staff, price and conditions were GREAT. I would have shot a 88 if greens would have been in better shape. Too many 3-putts. My group did play UNDER 3 hours so pace of play was excellent.

A fair trek of golf. Staff very friendly. Conditions were pretty good without recent rain. We had a 5hr 20 min. round that would have not been if there were rangers pacing the pace of play in front of us. We waited on every hole but we were paired up with 2 gentleman from England that made the round somewhat enjoyable despite this pace of play.

Need a few rangers traveling the course to monitor play as we never saw one. Group of a 4-some men in front of our group played the blue tees and at least 3 of them should have been playing the silver or white tees. The hole in front of them was without play and they finally let us go through after 7 slow holes of play. We waited on every fairway for our next shot because of ball hawking and poor shot making which made all 4 players in my group lose their tempo. At the turn we found that this group ended up 3 groups behind us so they should have gotten the hint a long time ago. The solution to this would be to post a suggested tee box to play in the clubhouse according to your handicap and get some rangers out there to monitor play. I do have to say the speed of play on the back nine was GREAT.

Had a nice round with fabulous pace of play even after we made the turn. Staff were all very friendly. It also helped that we were paired up with another couple who have now become our golfing friends.

Greens were in perfect condition,
Some groups ahead made the wrong advancement to their 2nd 9 holes and therefore we had a bottleneck of groups in front of us starting with our 2nd 9 holes. Our group and the group in front of us made the advancement of the correct 9 holes but 2 ladies groups suddenly appeared in front of the group in front of us. There is a need to have rangers or signage to remind players what course they are headed to after playing the 1st nine. One par 5 there were 12 carts on that hole and no ranger in site. Screwed up our timing. Also NO code was given to us for use of the course restrooms and it also was not posted on the carts.

An enjoyable Christmas Day round as once the 9 holers left we breezed through the last 9 in less than 1 1/2 hours.

perfect pace of play along with friendly staff made it a very enjoyable round.

Everyone from the bag drop to the pro-shop were super friendly.
They start groups off both the front and back and they seem to have this worked out to a science as there are no problems when you make the turn. Our group played in a miraculously
3 1/2 hr. round on a Saturday during high season so needless to say the pace of play was excellant. Greens and fairways were in great shape despite the low amount of rain we have gotten. Sunk alot of 1-putts from the fringe so this made me very happy. Range balls included with golf fees a great plus.
