Excellent course in fantastic shape. Not easy to play the first time around. Plays longer than the yardage. Fairways, greens & green complexes all in outstanding shape. Greens were putting at 9-9 1/2. Would prefer them a little faster. Friendly and very accommodating staff. Nothing but good things to say about this golf experience. One reminder, gps based yardage devices didn’t work because of the lack of cel service. Course is well marked however. Take this ride to Wickenburg. You will not be disappointed.

Always enjoy the layout of both The Boulders courses. Fairways were good. Greens were not up to their regular standards. Only reasonable when significantly discounted.

Tees - Need help. Lumpy & Uneven.
Fairways - Fair. Overseeding wasn't consistent.
Greens - A little slow but rolled true. The best part of the course.
Pace of Play was 4:10, which is excellent for this course.

Poor condition. Poor greens. Poor pin positions. Layout better than conditions.

Don't pay any attention to the past reviews prior to this winter season. The new owner has done a great job turning this place around. Clubhouse has been updated with nice bar/grill. Great Proshop and Proshop staff. Overseeding has filled in and the course looks great and plays great. Played a twosome on a cool day with no one in front. 2hr. 30m. for 18 holes. Don't know what pace of play will be like when course is busy, but the course is very playable, so it should never be very bad. This was the 5th course played this week and by far the best value for the money. Check out their reward card. It pays for itself in one foursome round. Not a Troon North or TPC, but one of the best mid-level courses. Try this place. You won't go home disappointed.

Disregard any reviews from anything prior to late 2015. A new owner has done wonders. Course is in excellent shape. Best value that I have seen in the North Scottsdale area. Super staff in both the Pro Shop and bar. Played in poor weather so it was a sub 3 hour round. Not sure what you will get on a busy day. However, this course is very playable, so I don't think it would get backed up too bad. Check this course out. You won't leave unhappy.

At drive up, attendants unfriendly, seemed put out to have to help you. Not helpful in finding dropped glove. Proshop staff were great however. Starter said course was moving well, 30 minutes ahead at ninth. Don't know what he was looking at! Got to the tenth tee at exactly 3 hours. No better on the back. Ended out not finishing because of darkness. One of my slowest rounds ever. Some par threes had four groups on them. Never saw a ranger. Only the views made it somewhat tolerable. Will not return. My time is more valuable than to spend 6 hours on a golf course.
