Challenging course for the average golfer. Greens in very good shape. Pace was slow, but it was a busy Labor Day. Would recommend.
Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club

We played three courses while staying with some friends in Ft. Myers, and this was the best of the three. Very enjoyable day playing with another pair of guys from Wisconsin. Lots of water, and must be able to hit fairly long and straight to have a decent score. Looking forward to coming back and playing again.
Palm Harbor Golf Club

Got paired with a really nice couple from Switzerland. Course seems to get a lot of pressure but All around is worth the money. Not any water coolers on the course.
Eagle Ridge Golf Club

Course was very busy due to peak season but everything went smoothly. Staff very courteous and helpful. Lots of water and challenging for the average golfer. Look forward to playing again.
The Legends Golf Course at Parris Island

If you are looking to play some courses off the island, I would recommend Old South and Eagles Pointe before I would drive all the way to Parris Island. We got placed behind a 9 hole scramble group on the front 9 and it very slow. Course is nice but don't play if you can't book for under $30
I'm sorry to hear that your experience at The Legends was not what you expected. We do have outings from time to time and the one that you are referring to was a Farewell Party for a Marine who is being deployed. Most of the groups who were scheduled to tee off behind the outing started on the back nine and I am sorry that this was not the case for you. I hope that you will come back for another visit, without the interference of an outing!

In Vegas for a long weekend and got some good rates thru Golf Now. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Free practice balls. Course was in good shape. We liked it enough we played a second time before returning home.
