Lots of new building going on. New owner is making big improvements over last time we played here, over 4 years ago. Course is only going to get better. Pins need to be changed more often, edges not sharp and doughnuts around holes so you have to bang your putts in.

A friend recommended the course to us and we came here to try it it. Camped at Hawe Creek and played here for the first time. The staff was outstanding, since the back was being worked on she suggested we play the front, go to lunch and play the back. It worked out great. Course typical SC., dog legs, up and downs and great fairways. The greens were a little stressed and holes a bit rough on the edges but I would come back in a heart beat. Also great water crossings.

Do NOT go to either close golf courses in Alabama. They do not compare in any way to here. I will spare the Alabama courses the embarrassment to mention them here.
Was a great course in everyway except the greens were slow and a little bumpy. Best value for miles and miles though.

There is a good reason the Jones coarse is so much cheaper than the Hills. Unless you are a long long ball hitter it is a very frustrating coarse. Playing from the Senior t's , after a 200 yard drive you are left with a 200+ yard approach, not much fun.

When the grass reappears conditions should get much better. Fast greens! Front and back are TOTALLY different! Back is as links as it can get.

Once the grass starts to take hold and the grees fill in it will be a fun coarse to play. We started behind a 4 some and waited on 17 t boxes. Maybe it is a Tallahassee thing but it would of been nice to spare my wife and I am hours waiting time and let us play through. Can't blame the coarse maybe the locals just don't care.

For an executive course the par 3's are way too long. The conditions were so poor it made getting a par very difficult.

The Hills is diverse, difficult if you are not a long hitter. Although the red t's are well forward on many holes it is almost impossible to have GIR for a average hitter. Long hitters have more problems because it becomes more of a target layout. We played CPO which makes a very long and tiring day.

This course was fun to play. Very little chance of loosing any balls but some of t shots looked quite narrow. Lots of ups and downs.

Golf Now had a great price so we thought we would try something new. Wonderful layout, great condition on greens and fairways. Don't be disappointed with a poor score, it is long and difficult, enjoy the surroundings. Wooded and hilly but a ton of fun. Don't miss it!

Prices very good but I saved over 70% using Golfnow Hot Deals! We got behind a 5 some who would not let us through. Later we noticed a number of 5 somes on the coarse, so be prepared.

Coarse is in good shape but the holes that were cart path only really slowed down play. The management needs to find a way around dealing with those holes with large side hills. When busy I also think they should par up doubles or add a single to a double.

The price on Golfnow was irritable! The greens were very difficult but we're in great shape and rolled true. The front 9 was very diverse and fun. The back nine at first look, looked like a lot of in and back but beware every hole had a hidden obstical to overcome. This is a gem of a coarse sitituated among the cherry orchards of Western Michigan

Got a great price on Golfnow but even without it is a terrific coarse for the money. The greens are huge and fairways great, no need for 'rolling your ball' there. The first nine was played fast with just the two of us , the back was torture following a 4 some that were the slowest I have played behind in years.

Have enjoyed all the Ga. State coarses but this was the best golf experience so far. The price was great and we had the place to ourselves early in the A.M. Can't wait to play it again in summer.

Too bad the city spent so much Monet upgrading then let it slide downhill.

Was one of the best value for the rate charged the greens were super fast but fair and receptive. It became a game for us to find the first weed, a difficult challenge. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our next trip to st. Augustine will include another round here. The par 3's were much longer than our home course but a fun challenge.

Beautiful setting but 4 of the greens were next to unplayable, the rest were beautiful but very difficult to read. This is a coarse which is very difficult for short hitters even if the play up on their T's. the setting is great though.
