Paris Grand Golf Course
Played On 08/03/2016not impressed- not a value
paying $45 for 9 holes in these types of conditions simply isn't fair. More like $30-$35 at most. First off, the greens are in bad shape. They don't roll true and as a previous reviewer noted and there are multiple non-repaired ball marks. Sand traps were like playing on concrete-low sand and completely hard I ended up pulling ball out and playing as standing hazard. Cart path in certain locations are uneven and somewhat treacherous. Spilled multiple drinks driving slow. Some of the fairways are in really bad shape and look like a mine field with thousands of unrepaired divots. Overall, this is a pasture. Would not play again and chose this track because of reviews since I'm an out of towner. Not too tough except for 9th hole.
Twin Lakes Golf Club - Estates Course
Played On 08/04/2015Woods course is really cool
Played the Woods course and it is a gem. Not very long most par 4's are 350-385 and reachable in 2 for average player. Every hole has a unique layout and is not similar to the others. Only downfall was sand traps were in need of a little attention as some were mini ponds. Will definitely play again completely worth it and really enjoyable scenery.
Shepherd's Hollow 1 Golf Course
Played On 07/21/2015good not great
Nice layout and greens were great condition and fast but there was plenty of sand! Sand in okay to poor condition some of sand was wet/hard. There isn't much water on this course which surprised me since it's supposed to be one of the best. Not going to rush to play again too many more courses to choose from. Overall I wasn't blown away. I played 9 on the second course which I thought was better with more views and 9 on the main course.
Pine Trace Golf Club
Played On 07/24/2014Nice layout and scenery, fair condition
Played this course over 6 times within the last year. Overall it is a very nice course with a few challenging holes and it has very nice scenery. Not much water at all and the trees (thence name) provide nice backdrop and shade but don't get in the way unless you have an errant shot. However, some of the greens are in bad shape from the rough winter and disease. At least 4 of them were roped off and under repair when I last played. Still doesn't stop me from making this my home course since it is fun to play and usually easy to get on.
