Kawartha Golf and Country Club
Played On 11/7/2013Classic course in great shape
Kawartha Golf Course proves a course does not have to be 7000 yards to provide a fair and tough challenge. The mature trees and the outstanding bunker design help make Kawartha a stiff challenge for all levels. The proshop advice was to keep the ball below the hole and it is advice that should be heeded by all golfers, as the greens while small are very quick.. The service was very friendly and there were numerous cart girls making the rounds. This course was enjoyed by both the long and short hitters of the group. If you are in the area be sure to enjoy a day on a grand old golf course.
Lindsay Golf and Country Club
Played On 6/19/2013Tough course will challenge all from appropriate tees.
Lindsay Golf Course is a challenging course with lots of length for long hitters. The course was in good condition and was well maintained. The blue grass rough is cut short but is thick. Greens putted well and held shots into the green. The par fours are a variety of wide open and tight holes. Water comes into play on several holes. Lindsay Golf is an enjoyable round of golf and good scores require golfers to be on their game.
Six Foot Bay Resort Golf Club
Played On 9/28/2012This is a excellent golf course, worth every penny.
Six Foot Bay in Buckhorn is an excellent parkland style golf course. The owner has added personal touches all over the course such as sun and rain shelters on every tee, flowers planted throughout the course, and all bridges are a different style such as a stone arch bridge, wooden covered bridge ,and a rope bridge. This is an excellent layout which requires golfers to use all the clubs in the bag. It is always in good condition. Lots of trees, water and challenges. It is great value for the money and a course that should be on your yearly must play schedule.
