We try to golf this course every year. The prices are a bit steep unless you find a good deal on Golf Now, but the course is always in great shape. It is much tighter than most courses I play and the potential is there to loose alot of balls. We had an enjoyable afternoon, though things slowed down on the back 9 and we had to wait for the twosome in front of us on the last 7 holes.(they were also waiting for the group in front of them). Will definately be back providing I can find a discounted rate.

Great course, will be curious what it looks like in a couple of years when all the development around it is finished. Right now it is a great course with no real amenities other than a beverage cart. Staff was great, the driving range (included in the price) is great, you hit floating balls at targets in the water, and the putting green is nice as well. I didn't see a chipping green but other than that it is a top notch course that will get better with age.

I was dying to play this new course, but could not afford their normal rate. Found a great deal on Golf Now and was not dissapointed. The course is in great shape for a new course and we all loved the course and layout. Staff was great, the club house has not been built so they are operating out of a trailer and portable toilets but we knew this going in. Going back next week to try it again!

This was the second time we played the course this year and it needs help. The first time we played we noticed that the red tees that my wife was playing did not match the scorecard. When we asked about it this time, they told us that they didn't know the distance that they move the tees all the time and some of them are in the fairway. It is hard to post an accurate score when they shorten the course by 400-500 yards. The first time the starter had us line up our carts in order of our tee times. When it was our turn we went to the tee box and the starter came and yelled at us for going up to the box, because how would he know who was next? (even though he lined us up in correct order) . Then I bought a soda for my wife and asked for a cup with ice and the bartender told me that she should be charging me $2.00 for the cup with ice. I told her to keep the soda and she then gave the cup and ice to me for free. This time the cashier was grumpy. There is very little grass on the course which might explain why we were able to play in under 4 hours (very few players). We won't be back....

The starter had us line up in order of our tee times. We got to the front of the line, the starter was no where around and the group ahead of us had already left the tee, so we moved up to the tee box. Well the started took offense with that, saying we needed to wait until he told us it was our turn, even though we were lined up in order and it was our turn. Course needs work, looked like the tee boxes haven't been moved in days, It also looked like they are having issues with the irrigation. The is no way this course is a $75 dollar course.

This is a beautiful course, my only complaint was after we finished the front nine. There were two groups ahead of us on the back. Not sure where they came from, I'm guessing that they just came out to play the back and jumped in front of our group which was playing 18. This should not happen! 9 holers should not be able to jump ahead of 18 holers. We waited on every hole on the back, finished 18 in low light conditions.

The fairways had very little grass, so most lies were very tight. When we got to hole 10, we could not find the tee boxes, even though we had played the course last year. Couldn't find anyone around to give us directions so we went into the bar and they told us that they had moved the tees way up. They had actually turned the par 4 into a short par 3, like 120 yards, so the slope and rating is not correct on the card. With fees and taxes we paid nearly $80...... this is not a $80 course.

Overall the course is o.k, the bar/restaurant was closed. They had ice and water outside the clubhouse, but no cups, you needed to go into the clubhouse and ask for a cup which seems a bit odd.
Course was very wet in front of the greens, so if your ball did not land on the green, it wasn't going to roll or bounce up. Many of the sand traps were also wet and the fairways had very little grass. I had one ball plug in the middle of the fairway and we have not had rain in three days. There are two par 3's in a row on the back nine, one is 190 yards, the next one is 100 yards. Poor design if you ask me.

As always the course was in great shape. When we arrived there we no golf carts available so we had a little wait before we could go to the range. At the range, they were out of golf balls but after about 5 minutes they arrived with some. The first nine was very slow, taking 2.5 hours. We saw a ranger once, but did not see him pushing the group ahead of us to keep up. The back nine was right on pace.

This is my favorite course in the area. Seems like all the snowbirds left, we played our round in 3 hours 20 minutes. Course is in great shape as always.

The round started a bit slow, I believe a woman's league was ahead of us. Once we reached the back nine, things opened up. Course was in great shape, though the drink prices are a bit high (1 Titio's soda and a Corona was $16.75). Looks like I will be drinking water next time around.

The starter got us off about 20 minutes before our scheduled tee time. Things moved along quite nice with us finishing in 3 hrs 40 minutes. Great value for the money when you consider free range balls and a nice chipping green complete with a sand trap. Only negative on the day was no beverage cart, but it did save me money.

Our round started out great, actually got out 15 minutes before our tee time. When we reached the 6th hole, there were 3 groups waiting on the tee box. This trend of having to wait on every tee box continued until we had to quit our round after hole 17 due to darkness. We never saw a ranger, the beverage cart person said that there was a group of 4 ladies, that backed up the whole golf course. What a shame not having someone out there to push the slow group. This action inpacted many other golfers who were all complaining.

Booked through Golf Now at a crazy low price. Staff was very friendly, course was in great shape. Would definitely play again.

One of the best golf courses in the area, if not the best public course. My only complaint is with their drink prices. I ordered 3 drinks from the beverage cart, one was rail vodka & club soda, one Tito's & club soda, and one diet coke; the total was $20.50. My course back in WI charges $5.00 for the Tito's and club soda and you can buy a 1.75 liter bottle for $28.88. Needless to say we were not very thirsty after the first round.

Played this course several times over the years, this is the worse I have seen it. Fairways and bunkers are in poor condition. We played on a Sunday, the club house was closed. Bathrooms on the course were open, but it sure would be nice to be able to use the restrooms after a round of golf. Not much grass on the fairways and they were very wet even thought we have not have rain in several days. For the money.......we won't be back.

Very little grass in the fairways, greens were fine. Bunkers did not appear as if they are being worked up. Price was right but still not worth it due to the poor playing conditions. Won't play it again unless reviews change.

Myself and 2 family members decided to golf a round at Legacy. When we arrived we were suprised that the course added a 4th to our group and equally suprised when the bag person insisted that the 4th had to ride in the cart with one of us. I explained that his position was inconsistant with soical distancing rules. The bag person said he wsa told they did not have enought golf carts and the decision was above his pay grade. After complaining to the pro shop, we utimately got the 4th on another cart which didn't make the bag person happy. The only other issue was the lack of water on the course on a hot day. All water coolers had been removed and no beverage cart on the course. The course should at least have water available near the restrooms so golfers can wash their hands with soap & water after touching the water cooler. Course was in great shape other than the sand traps due to no rakes which is understandable during this time.

The course in not in very good shape, though most of the greens were o.k. Some had bad spots, but we just moved our balls so we didn't have to hit through them. My big issue was the lack of distance markings. Did not see a single distance marker on the first nine we played and the golf app on my phone did not have the Highlands as an option, so it was a big guessing game. Likewise there were holes with dog legs and I had no idea how far I could hit the ball without running out of fairway, which I unfortunately did. I played the course a couple of years ago, it must have been in better condition back then, because I will not be back in the future.

We were fortunate to be paired with a couple of locals who knew the course. With that being said, I still lost 3 balls; without their knowledge I could have easily lost a dozen. The course is a par 70, but plays much more difficult than that. There is water in play on pretty much every hole. Course was in great shape, but the locals indicated that the greens will dry out in a couple of weeks (not sure why, since they have sprinklers). Anyhow, would gladly play it again and will put it on my list of "things to do" next winter.
