Pace of play was ridiculously SLOW. Just out of overseed and CPO but c'mon... waiting 10 minutes a shot is soul crushing.

Overseed very spotty and a ton of dead grass on the incredibly SLOW greens.

Lots of homes to catch an errant shot on the very tight fairways. Not overseeded; fairways are sparse and hard. Greens are decent and there are some interesting holes. Overall a bit over-priced but now I see why they had Sat. AM availability... Won't be back.

Hadn't played here in 20 yrs... Now I remember why. What a goat ranch.

Course is OK but the pace is deadly slow... they allow 5somes; waited on every single shot and as much as 10 minutes on the par 3s. It's not fun.

Red Bridge is always in great shape and relatively inexpensive. This course is on the far eastern side of the metro area (about 10 mi. past I-485) but well worth the drive.

This course is off the beaten track but well worth the drive. Moderately challenging without being unfair. It's typically 'damp' given the setting (lakeside lowlands) but always in good condition; especially the greens. (btw, ignore your GPS; follow the directions on the web site)

This course is one of the better one is the greater Charlotte area. Nothing fancy but still always an enjoyable place to play.

Basically your typical 'village' course with the rickety carts, 42 kinds of grass, fivesomes, etc. The layout isn't bad but the conditioning is.

Played in a light drizzle so Cart Paths only but not a killer track for that. Course is a good shape for the time of year and the greens were in great shape despite micro aeriation holes. This course features a good mix of holes but there are a couple that can eat your lunch.

I played a day after some on / off again rain. The course was basically unplayable. Wet & soggy with a LOT of standing water. Obviously expected it to be a bit wet but OMG... and was a warning or discount offered for the conditions??... NO. Besides all that, really nothing special. Just an average layout that has been tricked up here & there... Save your time and save your money as there are nicer courses and better values to be had elsewhere in the North Myrtle area.

This track requires many forced carries which can be very daunting. Course conditions a typically very good for winter golf. Greens were switched from bent to bermuda over the summer and are rolling well but a bit hard so a lot of shots aren't holding.

I play here often so I am little biased. This is one of the best 'public' courses in the area (Verdict Ridge is the other). There are two 18 hole courses: Jones & Jackson (Jones hosts a Senior tour event every year and is more difficult). Both are well maintained year-round and the fess are reasonable. (FYI - the ratings apply to the Jackson side)

Played all 27 holes one week day as a single so can't really judge pace of play except to say that they permit 5-somes (at least for members...). Conditions were mostly good except a lot of leaves on the greens. Staff was very nice.

I might not have caught this course on its best day (dead winter grass) but there are other issues that needs some attention such as spotty greens & bare spots in the fairways. Otherwise the course has an interesting variation in layout and great potential. The staff I dealt with was very nice.

Nothing tricky. Very nice solid course in very good condition. Price is in line with nicer courses in the Myrtle Beach area. Came with lunch in the grill which was surprisingly tasty.

Ballantyne is a great track and must play for the Charlotte area.
