Played on a hot February Friday and pace of play was very slow—4 and a half hours. No Marshall to be seen. Staff was friendly and helpful. Driving range was in good shape but a very small practice green. Tee boxes were in poor shape while fairways and greens were fair. Lots of peripheral damage from Hurricane Ian still visible.

Every year this course improves without fail. For the past five years, incremental improvements occur. Despite Hurricane Ian rolling through five months ago, you couldn’t tell. Course was in fine shape and it was apparent that the cart paths were worked on this past year. Staff was friendly and helpful and Marshall moved a group that was slow to speed up so that we finished in four hours for our round!

Despite a lot of wind and water damage to trees and vegetation from Hurricane Ian, the fairways and greens were in very good shape. Tee boxes are heavily used and some show it. Staff were friendly and courteous. This is a well run municipal golf course that had lots of play on a Sunday afternoon so pace of play was slow.

I have played this every year for the past five as I snow bird every winter. Infrastructure continues to improve as cart paths have been cemented throughout. Also, areas of grass sod being laid are seen on every hole. Greens are being worked on and tee boxes continue to improve. Pace of play was excellent and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I will continue coming back as the experience comprises every year!

Greens were slow and several looked like they were recovering from an infestation. Tee boxes heavily used. Pace of play was very good and staff was very friendly and helpful. Course is in a gated community and relatively safe. Several holes abut what looked and sounded like a very sketchy areas

Pace of play was slow; lots of construction going on around course that detracted from the day. Water was difficult to find and rest rooms were out of order.

Very friendly staff at check in and in the food and.beverage service helps improve the image of this average golf course. Greens were ragged and fairways were recently mowed after heavy rains. Tee boxes showed heavy ware.

Warm and windy day, Course in decent shape, tee boxes were OK and greens rolled true. A NICE municipal course that has great practice facilities and caters to all levels of golfers.

Course was in good shape but tee boxes were ragged. Pace of play was excellent—Noon Sunday start but done in under 4 hours. Greens were in decent shape. Definitely will be back!

Didn’t expect to play in under 4 hours on Saturday but everyone moved along and rangers were there in case. Nice wide fairways and fast greens were framed by lots of sand and water. Will play here again as this is a well run, beautiful layout!

This is the fourth winter I've played Palmetto Pine and each year I see marked improvements in this public course. Pace of play was excellent (just 4 hours) even though there was a slow group in front of us. I will continue using this course and highly recommend it to all!

Spanish Wells is in excellent shape--played East and North nines. Greens were quite quick and fairways in great shape; some tee boxes were a little ragged. Pace of play was excellent as we completed round in just under 4 hours!

Having played Palmetto Pine in 2018, it’s clear that time, money and effort has been put into improving this course over the past 12 months. Greens were consistent throughout and well maintained. Fairways have received a lot of attention with new sod and grass growing. Tee boxes are heavily used but acceptable. When I complemented a staff member, he said more was coming. I hope my 2020 experience shows additional growth and improvement!

Got a Golf Now special rate which was about what the course should charge--but, it's high season in Florida! Greens rolled true and fairways in good shape, however, tee boxes were a little ragged. Staff was friendly and helpful. Called ahead for sandwiches and they were ready when we made the turn. Finished round in 4hours, 5 minutes so there was an excellent pace of play. I will come back.

Course was recovering from heavy rains several days previously. Fairways were spotty but overall course layout is very interesting and challenging with lots of water all around. A fun day but a bit slow.

With a make-up foursome, we had a great day. Played in just under 4 hours on an interesting and challenging course that is much different in layout from most southwestern Florida courses. Starter was accommodating, and greens ran true. Fairways were somewhat thin but course was worth the cost. Will come back again!

Heavy winds hampered play on this challenging but fun course. Greens in good shape but tee boxes needed work. Staff was very rigid and could not accommodate our requests

Course was in decent shape as greens had just been sanded. Pace of play was slow without any marshall on the course. Fairways in decent shape and there were some interesting holes. Over priced in my view but it is Florida in the winter!
