Played as we were looking for a course with nice surfaces to play on at this time of year & came across Panmure. They understandably had maintenance carried out the greens but they were still good to putt on. Tee's etc were cut very tight & a pleasure to hit off.
The course is an easy walk, No hill's at all, Lot's of lovely holes with plenty definition however the last 4 holes don't live up to the rest of the course.
Generally very positive experience & for the rate of £35 I would recommend it, To our annoyance, without being notified, There were 3 winter greens in play & quite a few more winter tee's that substantially changed the holes. 1 winter green is understandable as the fringe/surround was getting re-turfed and the greenkeeping staff looked to have done a tremendous job however there seemed no reason for the other 2. Especially disappointing when one of them was the 6th which is named Hogan after Ben Hogan. He spent 2 weeks at Panmure before the 1953 Open at Carnoustie practicing & the 6th was his favorite hole in the area & a bunker was added at his recommendation, see pictures.

Overall, Good course, good surfaces, complimentary range balls before you play ... just call before traveling to see if it's the full course or not.
