Preakness Valley Golf Course - West

Being we live in North Haledon, NJ. The Preakness Course is close to home and in good condition. Just understand that this course ALWAYS plays slow. Just be prepared to have a long day. I suggest you go there with a laid back attitude. If this course is running slow, enjoy your day and mind your manners.

I would choose this course over and over again. Glen the starter is super pleasant. The course is in great shape and I always have a nice time golfing with my husband. It does get a bit backed up, but hey it's a beautiful day, isn't it?

I would absolutely come back to this course. It is an easy course to play and it was a nice layout. Well manicured. The staff must have thought we were invisible, (3 guys completely ignored us) but other than that, we enjoyed it. No help with clubs, nor did they even acknowledge our start. We loaded up our cart and basically started at our time with no help what-so-ever. Honestly we were dumbfounded. Anyhow, the course itself made up for it.

I enjoy playing this local course. It is a perfect 9 hole round. Although a bit expensive, it is convenient in the Paramus area.

My husband and I have played the West Course a couple of times. The $15 increase has us golfing elsewhere more often. It's worth $60 not $75. Greed will not win players.
