Fun course to play. Need to hit it straight or the trouble begins. Hehe. Greens very undulated and fun to putt on. Overall, this early after overseed. , real good course for the price.

Francisco Grande is a great spot to take your group for golf. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Course layout is awesome. Just off overseen so it was a bit shaggy but all in all, very good. Great rates as well. Recommend trying if you have not played.

Dobson is a good course with great green design. It is a Muni that is in real good condition. Lots of practice facility and easy to find. Highly recommend. If your looking for a very good golf course with tough greens, try Dobson.

Dobson ranch is a good golf course with very tough greens. The greens are quite undulated and smooth . Fairways were in very good condition. Getting off fairways presented some challenging lies which is fine, and the tree lined holes were always present to keep you thinking. I have played Dobson many times in the past and finally got back there and enjoyed it very much. If you have not played it, you won't be disappointed. This 3 handicap had his hands full. Dobson offers enough challenge.

Francisco Grande was recommended by a friend who used to go there regular on golf trips. The 2 of us are under 4 hdcp. and have played many courses in the AZ area. Great layout and fun to play. Good test of golf for sure. Greens looked like they would be rough but were very good and nice and quick.. Only saw a small bounce once. 18 green was rough though. Never had a bad lie on fairway and rough was nice and high. About 40 minutes from Gilbert AZ. If looking for good value, try this place. Very convenient DQ after golf too. hehe. Will definitely revisit. Recommend it to all levels of golfer

Apache Stronghold is a course that you go to have fun at. We like to drive out there a couple times a year for a different look AND a Wendy's frosty on the way back hehe. Its an hour and half from East valley so be open minded when you get there. The staff is awesome, prices are awesome and, while there are blemishes around, the course is good. Never had to bump once and only took relief on a Green to a foot away once. Stay out of the rough, the ball sits down and leave very tough shot. While most others are in over seed maintenance, the Stronghold is not. Bent greens and they don't over seed fairways. Our group were all low Hdcps and we had to play well to score so don't think it is a push over when you get there. Greens are very tough and it can stretch to 7200.. All in all, we will go back.
