The course was booked up for Junior tournament all week so we could only get times after 2PM. It gets dark at 5:30 so I expected we would not finish. I was pleased that the course opened up and we finished before dark both days. The Red Tiger purse was a nice track, fun to play, and in good condition except for the multiple divots on the greens from the juniors not taking care of the course. It is not a long course, but well bunkered greens and lots of water hazards make it a challenge. I would play again.

I returned to SilveRock after several years and it remains one of my favorites in the Desert
The construction makes check-in a bit different and the driving range is far away so get there early to warm up.
The course is very good, very tough and plays longer than the measured distances with many elevated greens.
Take a bit more club on your approach shots as the greens are well bunkered and protected.

Weather was perfect with little wind. The Classic Club has long been one of my favorites in the desert. Fast true greens, and a course in great condition with a good lunch and towel thrown in every time we play.
It will always be on my playlist when I visit.

My favorite course to play when I visit which always makes our rotation due to value. Golf has become too expensive in the desert, and Mission Hills is no exception but compared to other places it always is more affordable. The course is always in good condition and this days the greens rolled fast. Golf scores are often lower at Mission Hills North as it is a fair test.

I always enjoy playing Classic Club. Great practice area, beautiful Clubhouse, excellent food, and they have always been smart to add $25 to green fee to make it easy to stay for lunch, drinks. The course is challenging especially with the wind. Bring your best swing!
Greens are challenging to read, but fair and not too fast today.

This was our first time to play Desert Island, but I followed the advice of a local golfer who had seen times available for Saturday during a very busy weekend in the desert. We were paired with another single and our threesome never had to wait after the second hole, and never had anyone pushing our pace the entire round. We played in 3 1/2 hours in great conditions. The greens were slower than some other course we played but rolled true in good condition maybe 8-9 stimp. We enjoyed a nice lunch, and were only disappointed they could not get us out for a replay.
I will try to play here again next season.

We always include Gary Player’s Mission Hills North in our rotation when we come to Palm Desert. This year I played 4 rounds there. It is getting busier and more expensive to get times now, but we still love the track and practice area. Hopefully it will not get too much more expensive as it is no longer a great value to play.

Every year we play at at least once at Gary Player’s Mission Hills North, and it never disappoints. It is a very fair track, and one of the few courses out here where you can score well. I don’t mind the dormant Bermuda as it reminds me of home. Greens are friendly and in very good condition. Practice area is excellent, and lunch is good. We played at 7:20 and were finished before 11:00 so I was able to squeeze in as a single to get a replay after a quick lunch. I appreciate Rod working the Pro Shop who found room for me to play this favorite a second time.

Very enjoyable par 3 course with as advertised tough undulating fast greens rolling away from Camelback Mountain. The pace of play was great until #8 when the twosome ahead of us ran into a very slow group of 4. We weren’t in a hurry, and enjoyed the round. It probably would have been a 2 hour 15 minute round if they had played at a normal pace.
Hard to avoid 3 putts on these greens.

I try every year to play this desert favorite, but the secret is out and the tee times fill up quickly. Today was perfect. I was fortunate to get paired with 3 other seniors who enjoy the game as I do, and the weather was perfect! The course is always in great condition, and players actually repair most of their ballmarks here! What a concept. Greens are firm and fast so scoring well requires a good short game and steady putting stroke.

The Classic Club has always done it well, and this round was no exception. We all enjoyed playing here. The carts are the most comfortable anywhere, and you are treated like a member at a private club. An excellent meal was included as well as a nice souvenir towel.
Very nice practice facility so we arrived mid morning, practiced, had lunch/breakfast then as we got ready for our 12:50 time the starter said we could go an hour early. The Marshall was especially nice, and kept close watch on all groups and pace of play.
We will keep coming back as long as the value remains.

Firecliff is always a great play. Beautiful desert course, tough test, great condition, first class facilities. I will always come back as one of our favorite places to play.

Classic Club has for years been a favorite course for our group when we come to the desert. The course is in great shape, the Food is excellent, the golf carts are very comfortable, the gift from pro shop is very nice, the greens are fast and true, and the Marshall/starter has a sense of humor and is reasonable.
We will return again and again.

This is always our first game in the desert as we play on our arrival day. Good lunch, nice practice area, and course is in good shape with good greens. Bunkers were not in good shape or it would get 5 stars.

What a great deal we found on GolfNow at the last minute! The Stadium Course is not fair, but life is not fair either as per Pete Dye. We could not have had better conditions on this date, and playing it forward was a must for our bunch. Well done if you can shoot your hdcp on this track.

We love this track and play it every year for the value and excellent playing conditions. It is very fair and one if the few desert courses we play that I typically can score well and often better than my playing handicap.
Easy access from airport (12 minute drive down Ramon Rd) makes it a great afternoon round on our day of arrival. Nice practice facility also. Good lunch!

I always enjoy playing at Desert Willow. Today was no exception. Perfect conditions and very fast large undulating greens make this beauty a challenge to go low. The desert beauty cannot be compared with any other public venue locally.
