Layout of fun to play with scenic views. The course was in great shape. Big firm greens to hit into and roll very true. The only complaint is that I had an uneven lie for every shot but that’s what made it challenging. There are not too many blind tee shots which I love. Everything is out in front of you.

Back nine is way harder than the front, due to blind tee shots. Play to the yardage markers on the fairway, skip the driver. Greens are great shape. Bare spots in some places in the fairway. Needs more yardage markers and signage.

There’s nothing more frustrating than losing a ball where you shouldn’t. The ruff was so high I lost balls just a few yards off the fairway. 4 green is very crowned and so unfair to players. You have to have played this course before to score a good round. Lots of blind tee shots.

A challenging course but fair. Easier front 9 than back. Loved the greens.

My only complaint was the tee blocks. The staff said they suffered last winter. It was like teeing off on bare dirt. Everything else was amazing. Best course I ever played. Greens were surprisingly slower than expected. Some holes were a little unfair with some landing spots but comes with the layout.

The greens are small and the holes are fairly short. Nothing much to the course. A good place for beginners

Great course and scenic views. Practice areas are second to none.

This course is divided by the interstate. You have to take a tunnel under the interstate to get to the other side which makes it unique. Conditions could be better but the best value in Springfield

Course is in decent shape. Slow greens. Fun par 5’s. Since it is 9 holes, it is often crowded.

Eagle Knoll is often windy but on a good day is the best golf in the area. Layout goes with the terrain. Course and greens are often in good shape as they aerate regularly.

Played the river and mountain. Loved the river nine. Was flat and picturesque with welcoming greens. The mountain holes were difficult. Course was in great shape for late fall.

The layout is challenging that forces you to pick your spots to get the best angles into the greens. Par 3s are tough. The course looks easier than it is. It is usually in good condition despit the traffic it gets. Carts are old though.

Oak Hills has a very challenging layout but very slow greens. Some greens have been updated are are ok, but the older ones are bad and crown. Some even have bare spot where grass does not grow. Tee boxes are always in great shape. Love the practice areas.

I’m not a fan of the back nine, but love the front nine. The layout of the back just seems too awkward with 90 degree fairway bends and holes that go straight uphill. However the front nine is GREAT. Greens are slow and bunkers are terrible.

Greens were ok but could tell where the fairway ended and rough began. Fairways were worse than the rough.

I love everything about this course. The layout is an old country club style course with big greens and bunkers. Course is always in great shape. Only complaint is the pace of play because it is often crowded

Very nice greens. Flat open course. Great course for golfers who miss the fairway
