Honesty this course is a bummer. It’s really not worth. I’m sitting in my cart right now stuck behind a single, who is stuck behind a twosome and another twosome. It’s taken an hour to play 4 holes, no Marshall. This course needs someone to be on it at all times otherwise it gets taken advantage of. I wouldn’t waste your money, a bucket of large balls is $14 which is the most I have ever paid. Go somewhere else, it’s $18 a Winter Park golf course for 9 holes and I would rather do that twice than sit here and watch a guy drive the ball 50 yards 3 times in a row.

This course is a great 9 hole course. It’s set up great and is beautiful. However, the rate of play is incredibly slow. Today I went off the tee at 8AM, the group in front of me was already on hole #3. No one was behind me so I took my time at the beginning hoping to give them a chance to get more ahead. It didn’t work, I soon had a party of 3 right behind me waiting on me because the threesome in front of me was taking there sweet time. It took me 2+ hours to play 9 holes by myself. The last hole I hit my tee shot an was 50 yards out. When I hit the tee shot the threesome was putting on the green. I believe this hole is about 230 yards par 4. I walked 175 yards to my ball and they were having a legit conversation on the green after they were all done putting like they owned the place. I was standing at my ball leaning on my bag, the threesome behind me was waiting to tee off, and these guys were having a full conversation on the green. I come here because people are always friendly, the staff is great, it’s a fair price and a nice course. But something has to be said to the members about the pace of play.

Guys, I’m doing every one a favor. Call before you book a tee time and make sure they got rid of the fire ants. There is about 3 dozen hills all over the course in playing areas, fairways, tee boxes and rough. I was unlucky and got to step in one I didn’t see in the rough. Ankles are covered in bites now, swelling is pretty good as well. Make sure the course has taken care of this issue, it’s a hazard to anyone playing. Also, if you have been bitten by fire ants, you know it’s not a joke. Those little guys pack a punch. I would post photos, but no one wants to see nasty swelling big bites.
