Cathedral Canyon Golf Club
Played On 04/21/2019Facilities
Number 9 and 10 have been turned from par 5 to par 3 due to water damage. Beware of the on course washrooms. Always dirty and disgusting. If the plan is to NEVER CLEAN THEM THEN CLOSE THEM as they are an embarrassment to the course, to t3 Welk foundation and the entire community.

The course is in terrible shape. The facilities are run down and dirty. Cannot believe Welk would allow their name to be associated with it. Warning....stay away regardless of price.

The track layout is good but it looks like the whole place has been let go from a maintenance point of view which is really sad to see. Really gone down hill since we were here last year. They must be in financial trouble because there are large signs asking the homeowners to contribute money to update the club house. You will see many examples of basic things like broken irrigation covers, light cover, bricks, etc that would be an easy fix but are just being ignored. WARNING! When you come to the one on course bathroom that is not boarded up DO NOT GO IN - DISGUSTING! As for the grass, there are lots of dead or bare spots which seems strange just after over seeding. Even at $27 we will not be back until they start looking after the place. Too bad.

They have let the course go. No grass in the tee boxes but lots in the sand traps. It appears as if they have stopped watering for the season and just let the course go. We paid $14 and felt like we way over paid. Don't waist your time here. Play somewhere else.

Over all the course itself was ok. HOWEVER! On golf now it says 90 degree rule. Not true! No carts allowed on any part of any fairway. While the course itself is actually quite good, this course continues to employ the most arrogant staff in the entire valley. We have played here a number of times and the result is always the same...unless you through tips at them, they don't want to even talk to you. We have to presume that they learn this culture from the director of golf as they are all the same. Should this course ever moved to a customer friendly culture it could be a winner. In the mean time we suggest staying away.

Even at $20 I would not recommend it. The fellow in the pro shop was unfriendly and appeared to hate his job. Everything about the place was old and run down. I will not be back at any price.
Bear Creek Golf Complex - Bear Course

We enjoyed out day overall but were disappointed there was no dress code. The group in front of us had people in tank tops that had no place on a golf course.
