Friendly staff& members. I played on a beautiful day course was in superb condition. I shot 1 over par & found the layout varied with views that will mesmerise . I shall be playing again when in the area.worth the money

I booked within an hour of playing because of work constraints worried wouldn’t get in 18 holes. Fantastic reception pro shop the members I met (including ground staff acknowledged me) a huge plus in my 1 player persona..greens were sanded that very day for the price no quibble. I found plenty of room for error fairways (on the few occasions) within my round some lovely views I respectfully suggest some easier pars achievable some accuracy demanded with small greens.. I will revisit and demand more of myself on I hope easier putting surface..no complaints whatsoever enjoyed every moment. Loved 17 was slightly left thinking bunkers protecting green not so further than u think shot over trees to 7ft pin huge smile on my ego..genuinely looking forward to revisit.must say members allowed me through & after apologised for not letting me join them as they were playing for money obviously saw me as a threat (trust said members are laffing) afterward bar food excellent was round in 3hrs with time to eat cannot thank u all enough. It’s been described in many ways my assertion.it’s hilly it’s difficult it’s wonderful and ridiculously cheap to play. I revisit once in a while as a physical and grin from ear to ear. Because of the price don’t expect quick round to do so misses the chance to enjoy so many different views. The standard of course is not perfect but you won’t have challenged your game if you never play it. Ask any Mancunian golfer all will say difficult track..an absolute must..I play off 12 it always makes a monkey out of me..

The course was fine considering the recent weather extremes. Members showed courtesy in letting a single player through which kept my round flowing. Staff before round explained course layout and after bar staff were pleasant. I shall look forward to returning . signage could be improved. The courses signature hole was suddenly upon me without the joy of expectation it’s a tricky terrific hole make a bigger deal of it my advice. Visitors be aware which hole it is as it appears plain off the tee. Thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended

I arrived early the pro assistant was friendly and took me to locker room i got to tee early to see an American lady golfer arrive and ask to join me (I had played here 2years ago)as I was on my own what followed was a wonderful round on a challenging course in blowing conditions.the greens were true fairways excellent few holes cross each other but in no way are an issue.the blind shots are indicated well by markers.I played fantasy golf with a lovely lady who played off 8 she loved views and the course.Off course the bar is a delight.A bargain at golfnow deal I got.see you again for certain
