Plantation Resort Golf Club
Played On 11/26/2018Good Course Layout with Wide Fairways but Enough Water to keep you Interesred
Played course for the first time on a cold Fall day so not crowded. The course winds through a housing development and is fairly flat but it has just enough water to keep you interested and the course was in great shape for the time of the year. Will definitely go back!
Bella Vista Country Club - Kingswood Course
Played On 03/16/2018Good Open Course
Good course that’s playable for almost all levels. While a short course for some you can play from the tips if need be. Fairways are generous but the trees can be a challenge if you happen to get behind one. Approach shots are fair with only a few holes showing hazards. Early spring meant the grass on the course was only fair and the greens were running slow (not unexpected however considering the time of the year). Overall a very good course for an enjoyable round in beautiful Bella Vista.
Waterview Golf Club
Played On 11/06/2017Fairways Great - Greens Not So Good!
Played with friends from East Texas who had heard about the Club and wanted to play. Overall it was a good round - a course built in a housing development with homes surrounding the course (however, it didn't make for a "tight course" ) fairways were fairly generous and enough hills, traps, and water to just make it interesting. One caveat - the bent grass greens have been hit hard with a fungus resulting in a lot of "interesting" putts over bumpy bare areas on the greens - it generally made putting not a good experience. Disregarding the greens, the course is fair and suited for a wide range of golfers.
Copper Creek Golf Club
Played On 08/11/2014Friendly staff
We play at Copper at least one time a year when we're in the high country - it hasn't changed much. The overall course conditions can only be described as "Fair" - greens are not in good shape - most of the fairways are fine. We've always been told that the conditions are due to the altitude and ski season but the other area courses don't seem to have the same problem. Granted, some of the greens at Copper are "skied over" during ski season but it just seems like by August they would be in better shape. I don't think that Copper spends as much on maintenance as other courses in the area - however, that's reflected in the typically lower price you see here. Also, don't let the short yardage fool you - it has some very tricky T shots for a short course - often over a lot of "grunge".
EagleVail Golf Club
Played On 07/14/2014Great Course in Vail Valley
This is fast becoming one of our favorite courses to play in Colorado. A challenging but fair course, it has lots of elevation changes and scenic views. The staff is very friendly and, with the help of GolfNow, it can be a very affordable place to play. We'll definitely be back.
Keystone Ranch Golf Course
Played On 07/06/2014A Great Golf Course in the High Country
We always try to play at the Ranch course at least one time when we're in Summit County. The course is very well maintained (especially when you consider the short growing season) and the staff is generally good. The only complaint I have is that the starter staff seemed to be a bit short-handed and we waited a bit past an obvious earlier available start time until he could get around to pairing us up on our regular start time. Also, when the starter asks if we've played here before, it seems to make no difference in the 3 - 4 minute speel he gives you about how to manage the course (cart rules, staying out of the environmental areas, etc.) Small complaint but I think they should consider whether a person has played there before.
