Rebel Creek Golf Club

This course can play a lot easier than it appears on the score card. From the tips the slope is 139, but the fairways are pretty forgiving. Water only comes into play on a few holes, but is very manageable. Greens were in great shape, some pin placements can get very difficult, but overall a very playable course from 6950 yards; even for a 10-14 handicapper.

Great course for all levels of play. A few holes that are a little strange and awkward if you are a beginner, but still overall a great course to play. As a walker, this course can be bit strange; a lot of places you have to leave your bag and walk backwards. A few tee off areas go over roads or beside roads; some houses near holes that can be intimidating for few. I have enjoyed this course every time I play; sometimes the pace of play is a little slow. #8 and #9 to me are just strange holes; just take your medicine and carry on; the rest of the course is great. My favourite hole is #12, just breathtaking with the rail road bridge as a backdrop, just beautiful.

Great little course 80+ years old in the heart of Kitchener. Very mature trees and very well maintained greens and tee areas. Great value in August/Sept. for twilight. It is a public course so all levels show up to play. It does result in a little bit slower play. I find they book a lot of tournaments at this course; sometimes it's hard to get a tee-time last minute because of this.
