Pine Lakes Country Club
Played On 04/09/2019No Ranger Poor Greens and abused by golfers
Had a early afternoon tee time and there was a large group of players ahead. Most were bad but pace was not horrible, however no ranger to stop them from meeting up after each couple of holes to talk. Also never fixed a ball mark or divot. Raked the sand in advance then threw out the rack and left all their footprints in the sand. Twice at par threes they were just sitting there waiting on the group behind to talk. Would not go back

Played On 12/26/2018Tough but can get slow
The course has a very nice layout and can be difficult when playing the first time. Only drawback is that groups in front can slow the course down by spending to much time looking for balls that are in the hills or bushes. No marshal to keep up a pace. Value compared to a Torrey Pines is good. 3 rounds here for one round there. 2some took close to 4 hours because of slower play in front which were twosomes.

Course need of some repair but staff was nice and marshal was out keeping things moving. Missed the group in front of us playing slow but still 415 round.
Cove Cay Golf Club

Good first - pace of play good 4 hours. Group paired with good, and layout was nice and had variety
Bad - person behind counter was rude and not friendly. If he does not want to work with people get a job collecting trash.
The course is in need of repair. Greens had multiple varieties and some bald spots, the tee boxes were in rough shape as well. Course has lots of potential but a year away from being good if they work on it

Do you remember the person's name at the desk? Our apologies if he seemed rude. We have rough tees and greens here and there for a couple of reasons. We don't over seed the tees with rye as that's an expensive bandaid and it's winter. A couple of greens had a mole issue and are now under repair. Golf courses always have some issues somewhere. We do hope you come back and play here in spring summer or fall so you can compare conditions.

Played On 07/08/2017Nice courses pace of play horrible
Teed off at 9:18 behind a early morning outing. Course in great shape staff very friendly but for 160 + 65 for rental clubs do not be able to finish a round in under 5 hours is utterly ridiculous. There were three groups of 4 on one hole at one point. Staff was nice people were nice but would never play again because the pace of play and lack of movement of those people who were slowing the whole course down. Only got through 16 holes before we had to leave for another commitment because the pace of play what so bad
Vineyard National Golf Course
Played On 7/5/2013Course in nice shape and good pace of play
First time there but not my last. Course was in good shape, fairways maintained but greens a little hard due to lack of rain. Overall nice layout with a couple of so so holes but not all 18 can be winners. Will play again.
Harbor Pines Golf Club

Played twice over the holiday and both time in 4 hours 10 minutes which was good based on high volume. Course in good shape and rangers were present to keep things moving.
The Senator Course at Shula's Golf Club
Played On 3/26/2013Greens nice staff nice fairways need work
Nice staff fast play today but the fairways are in rough shape and the bunkers were unrated.
Trump National Doral Miami - Silver Fox Course
Played On 3/25/2013Course was in good shape but needed a golfnow special deal to make affordable.
Would play again but only at the golfnow special rate. Good conditions and friendly staff.
