Warren County Armco Park Golf Course
Played On 11/11/2015Best course to walk in the Cincy/Dayton area.
I tend to play Armco once or twice a week during the summer. Clubhouse staff is generally friendly (apart from the older blonde female that worked there in 2015). It's an easy course to walk; short, few hills, and generally isn't busy. Usually isn't a problem to just show up at any time, and pace of play is usually pretty quick.
Greentree Golf Club
Played On 10/21/2015OK course; slow play; rude people in clubhouse.
Initially played Greentree in April 2015 by using a special offer from the Cincy Golf coupon book. At that time, course wasn't busy, and clubhouse help seemed thrilled to get the business. Finally had a chance to return to the course in October. Came armed with another coupon special; clubhouse help seemed peeved about having to honor the coupon. By the time that I got to the first tee, there were six groups ahead of me. Pace of play was dreadfully slow; ended up being a five hour round of golf.
Course isn't anything special. It's just a nine-hole course carved out between some farmland. Wouldn't be a bad place to play once in awhile if play wasn't so slow, and the people in the clubhouse weren't so rude.
