I'm very surprised at the condition of this course (Old Course) Poorly maintained even though the charge a good price to play there. There are better options all over Plano/Allen?Garland that this course.

I've been playing this course for over 20 years. Now that I only visit Temecula, don't live there anymore, this one is one of my favorite courses. HOWEVER: It makes it a real drag when you book so many doubles and foursomes without enough time in between and end up playing a 4 1/2 hr game on a Thursday morning!!!

VERY SLOW PACE!!!!

This course should not even be called "golf course".
The front 9 were closed due to "flooding" even though it did not rain the two days prior, so you could only play the back 9 twice if you choose. I didn't. I played 6 holes and left. The conditions were bad, there was no mention of any of this on the net. Actually, I wouldn't even play here if it was free. Also the carts are about 20 years old and have no power to get you over some hills.
Wasted time and money! Never again

Overall I had a great experience. My first time at Buffalo Creek East, for some strange reason the course was very wet and muddy, even though we have a drought in Dallas, not sure why but it made the first 5-6 holes tough to play for no apparent reason. Aside from that, great time and very nice people that works there made it all very enjoyable experience.
