I booked my tee time and when I checked in with the starter the first thing he informs me is that I only paid for half of a cart which is absolutely bogus. I have been golfing and golfing a lot for the last 18 years and NEVER have I been informed that I paid for half of a cart. I understand that they have the right to pair up golfers in a group to form a 2-some, 3-some, or 4-some. However, they do NOT have the right to force you to pay for the other half of a cart in order to have your own cart. When you book a tee time YOU PAY FOR THE CART not for 1/4, 1/3, or 3/4 of the cart. If this is the case, why doesn’t every other course enforce this policy? When I play in South Carolina this is NEVER the case and I’ve been playing down south for about 14 years. This starter was old, cranky, unprofessional, and incredibly disrespectful. Clearly he was angry that I booked through GolfNow and got a better tee time price than I would have had I booked through the course directly over the phone.

The course itself was in below average condition especially for the price you pay. They tore up a fairway and made it a Par 3 but the tee box is in the primary rough which is unbelievable and shows the level of their golf IQ or lack thereof. At the very least place the tee box in the part of the fairway that isn’t being torn up. It doesn’t take a degree in Golf Management to know how to do the basic things correctly, how to retain customers, and how to bring in new customers. I would NOT recommend this course until these matters are permanently resolved.

My experience while playing this course was quite enjoyable. The clubhouse was burned severely so everything is outside in a small shack. The course is in magnificent shape and will definitely be back in the future.

I have played Turkeyfoot several times but have never played the Water 9 until today. The course was in great condition considering all the rain we have received this spring. The staff was great and very friendly. This is definitely a course to play.

This is a gorgeous course that presents various challenges to golfers at all levels. The course was in great condition which made for an enjoyable round. The pace of play was a little slower than preferred but nothing terrible. I would definitely recommend playing this course! I will plan on coming back the next time I’m in town.

This course is absolutely beautiful and in excellent condition especially for this early in the season. The staff was remarkably nice and helpful. There were some small areas of standing water in a couple bunkers but besides that there were no major course issues. The back side of the course starting around Hole 12 started to get backed up so I wish there was a Ranger to assist in keeping up the pace of play. With that being said, I still finished in about 3.5 hours so not horrible. I would strongly recommend playing this course. I’ll definitely be back again when I’m in town next.

The pace of play was excellent. I played 18 holes in three hours. The greens are being repaired in a couple places but besides that everything about the course is excellent. I would recommend playing this course.

The course has a good layout but the greens need some attention as there are areas you can tell might have had a fungus in the past resulting in some areas needing immediate attention. The staff is very nice and welcoming. I would recommend this course but I would make sure the price is right before playing it.

Pace of play was very good. Finished my round of 18 holes in 3 hours playing alone. I would definitely recommend this course if you haven’t played it previously. The course is in great shape and the bunkers are well manicured. Definitely a course I’ll visit again the next time I’m in town.

The pace of play was excellent and as a two-some we played 18 holes in under 4 hours. The staff was very friendly and wanted to be sure all golfers were enjoying their round. I would most definitely recommend this course to everyone who wants to play at a course that is in good shape and challenges you to keep the ball in the fairway in order to play well.
