Classy working man’s course where you get very good value for your money. Great personable staff, very fun course with a good mix of tough and easy holes. Nice greens and tee boxes, and we’ll maintained fairways.

This is such a hard course on many levels. Long and narrow holes with forest on both sides. Fast undulating greens that are so hard to match pace with target. Many of the greens are elevated and hard, so very difficult to hold.
All that said, it’s beautiful with no back yards. Staff is friendly and conditions are always pretty good. If you shoot your handicap, ypu e done very well indeed.

I’ve been coming to this course periodically since the club house was a trailer surrounded by a beautiful course. The course has matured nicely and the club house is a large handsome building with a great restaurant and patio. the three of us all had something different, and we all enjoyed are lunch. The course was in good condition for a wet early spring - cart path only and slow greens was to by be expected. This is such a challenging layout thats a lot of fun to grind you’re way around while taking in some pretty outstanding scenery.

Of the five courses I played on this trip, this course in my opinion was the best, Target golf on breathtaking holes. Conditions were great, staff was friendly, golf was fair and challenging. Could have just played this one every time.

Over booked, no marshals left after 14 holes.
Was the only let down of five courses in the area on our trip to the area. So so course with some really nice scenery which I was really thankful for as I sat over every Drive and approach shot for a minimum of ten minutes.

Played amidst the Covid-19 hysteria. So happy to find this course. I Half expected expected to drive 2+ hours to find the gates locked but they were there. One staff member tuning the house like a champ. Making sure only four in the club house at once, disinfecting the carts etc. And laying down the rules of playing sensibly and safely. The course was in amazing condition for March 20th, with no temporary greens. I brought extra socks and shoes for the turn as I was sure I’d be soaked but they weren’t needed at all. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Probably the worst contortions this course has ever been played under. Very wet and spongy, many places weren’t cut due to the mushy ground. They really should have closed the course, but what the heck it was the first round of the year for a couple of us and it was just nice to hit the ball and have some laughs with friends. I will be back when it’s in shape as this course has a pretty fun layout with lots of interesting landscapes both park and links.

Really quaint little course. Very playable- almost too much so. I missed a lot of shots but still managed to score 3 over my cap. The greens were immaculate but I found in the beginning I kept over reading my puts. Most puts are half the break you see ps less. The starter from Minnesota was a very friendly fella and the pro shop and restaurant were quite nice. I look forward to bringing my wife here as it is quite an easy but very pretty course.

If you’re on vacation and playing new courses this is a perfect choice. Best course in Santee, though Lake Marion’s no slouch either. This one was far more forgiving though with nice big greens that weren’t overly protected or elevated. Cart was included but I chose to walk it as that’s usually my preference and found it very doable and enjoyable. Front nine is linksey and the back is forested which mixes it up nicely. Really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the terrific couple we played with. If you see this Tony and Janet, it was truly a pleasure and I hope our paths cross again someday.

Purchased a hot deal four days prior to come from 3 1/2 hours away to play with my dad for his birthday. When we got to the course at 10 am the gate was locked. Tried calling the course and got the answering service that couldn’t get through to anyone. Went to the website and it said the course was closed.
We have thoroughly enjoyed this course a few times prior and have been very happy with GolfNow, but today we were very disappointed with both. We went to Pine knot and the pro was super accommodating. He told us they were fully booked but do what he could to get us in as he
felt bad for us. The course was in immaculate shape for this time of year and the pace of play was great. Looks like we found a happy ending to the day and a new favourite course in the London area.

I Love this course! I played it last year and couldn’t wait to make the trek back to Niagara to play it again. I’ve played many 5 star courses across North America and this is the one that really sticks with me. I can’t wait to go back.

My dad lives in London and this is always our course choice. Scenic views with a great layout. The green side bunkers were a little too shallow to get under the ball-I don’t remember ever having that issue before here.
We played with a couple of sisters who schooled us. They were great to play with and very patient with our mediocre play : )
Will definitely be back. Beat course in London for the dollar value.

This course has been on my must play list. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree in this case. Robert Trent Jones Jr has designed a superb golf course that’s every bit as good as his dad’s designs. The next time I play this course I’d like to walk it and really take it in.

I really enjoyed this cours. The conditions we’re great even after all the rain. The greens were good and fast and, the fairways we’re healthy, the rough was playable and the bunkers were great. The staff was friendly and the normal GolfNow rate was of great value that can with cart, range, and a beer and hotdog. I look forward to playing this one again.

Played a few days ago and having a hard time rembering much out the layout. That said, I do rember it being very dry, even after a lot of rain. Nice quick greens and good bunkers. Certainly worth the money and I would certainly play it again, just a little pedestrian.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this course. Very playable and well maintained.
