first time here and was happily surprised. playing the blue from 6300 i believe was a decent test. the course was in good condition and the greens rolled well. i will be back

LOTS of weeds, and truly unkempt. i did not see one associate, although in fairness was a late am tee time and the course not busy. mgmt should either put some money into this nice layout or perhaps try different ownership. but there are many other nearby courses in MUCH better condition

this is the 2nd time i have played here this summer and i very much enjoy the layout. it is really fun and challenging. however the course is in terrible shape. when i commented this to the staff i was told that they are drying out for over seeding next week. . however, there is not much change since the last time i was here. i am hopeful the next time the conditions will have improved. i hope to play here again

i have played here before and i really enjoy the entire round. from checking in to the course to the cart person that cleans my clubs. friendly, courteous. the course had some weened and dry areas, after all it is the end of August, but overall in good shape. always fun playing here. the course, obviously add some kick when playing the back tees. i have played here before and will play here again

after several reviews of poor conditions, i can say i was very pleasantly surprised. i have been here before and enjoy the layout, but the course for early in august was in good shape. some bare spots here and there but its august in AZ. i will of course be back

course has a terrific layout, although upon check in we should have been informed about the maintenance on holes 8 and 9, ( i started on 10, so my last 2 holes) hole 8 turned a par 5 into a par 3, and 9 into a short 4.. there was no cart person seen for the day, although there are ample water jugs placed through out. course is in very good shape especially for the summer. i will be back

played this course on a warmer summer day. the staff was friendly, and attentive. the course was in good shape on greens and tees and fairly good on fairways.. will def be back

played this course for my first time on the first day after some course maintenance. it is a terrific layout with top notch staff. the layout is fun and the ONLY downside is takes a bit of getting familiar with the undulations of the greens and fairways and a blind shot here and there. just look for a good price and play well

upon arrival i find my 1pm time is still on time even though i am following a 12 noon shotgun outing .i am told it is a 4:15 hour round or so, but it took 4:45. "there is a marshal for each side" never saw one on the back and took 2:45 to play those 9. the counter person tried to charge me again for my hot deal rate., $4 for a small bucket on an IRONS ONLY RANGE? there is an almost dangerous level of play with a very close proximity of greens to tees and adjacent fairways. if you hit a tee shot that even rolls in the rough you may lose the ball. VERY long deep dense rough. interesting layout with some fun holes, but heard a LOT of balls bouncing off trees and had many people crossing through my fairway looking for their ball

i dare you to find a divot!, this course is AMAZING! while not exceedingly difficult, this is NOT why you would play here. it is for the amazing scenery, fabulous service and incredible pampering. no divots, no ball marks on the greens, and the rakes for the bunkers are "hidden" underground. truly needs to be seen to be believed.
if anyone has a chance to play here, DO IT. not inexpensive but for most mortals, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

played as a single and maybe only player on the course. mid day in August, not a surprise. the course was in good condition, greens rolled well, fairways were generous and in good condition. fun layout and would definitely play again

you can tell this was a fun layout and a good track in its day. however the course REALLY could use some help. from the cartpaths, which remind me of new york potholes in January, to burnt out spots in the fairways, tees and some greens. to flooded spots around the facility. the layout is good so i would recommend this course for a round since it is such a good value, but i HOPE someone can restore this course to what i assume was a terrific track and a good time.

this is a fun course with a nice layout. not overly difficult, but better players can play the blue tees and it plays to around 7000 yards depending on where they put the blur tees. 2 long par 4 on the back, one measured i think 437. greens a bit slow, fairways good, bunkers looked as if they could use some work.

this was a fun course with excellent service. from Ben at check-in to Tony loading the bags, the people were friendly and accommodating. the course does need some work, tees are worn in spots, but overall it is in good shape. I played the back tees and it was def a challenge, with a 253 yard par 3 and a 651 yard par 5. back to back
I would play again

this is the first time i played and in contrast to some other posts, i found the staff to be friendly and helpful, perhaps this is due to the addition of Jason Whitehill as their new director. however, when an off campus player arrives, it is not the easiest to navigate to find the rental carts and the player should be told about locations of water, ice and restrooms. that said, the course is a fun layout and the greens are in pretty good shape, the fairways had some dried and brown spots but in pretty good shape overall. the bunkers were OK and had a decent amount of sand. thankfully i was only in 2 for the day. i would absolutely come back

i have played this course many times and this is the driest i think i have come across. the course was recently aerated and that accounts for some of the bumpy greens, but the fairways seem very dry and burnt out. much more than other courses in the west valley. the staff as always is friendly and very accommodating. will play here again when the conditions improve

i have played here several times and after each time i wonder why don't i play here more often.? nice layout and even with recently aerated greens they weren't that bad. fairways in good shape especially for mid summer in AZ. the staff is friendly
so with a good staff, nice layout, good fairways and decent greens, there are no complaints. will definitely be back
