We play the course at least once or twice every March when we come. Great 3 par course that everyone walks. Easy walk and very good course to work on short game and putting.

Excellent course for your average golfer. Not to long and not to difficult. Greens were better than some courses we’ve played this last couple of weeks. Pace of play was very slow-waited almost every hole and sometimes every shot.

We play the course one time each year when we come in March. Course is just right for your average golfer.. Not too long, pretty straight forward, and reasonable price. I think due to the quality of golfers, our round was very slow; took us five hours. Has good food and at a fair price. Will continue to play the course.

I believe and I was told this is the first or second golf course built in the valley-I think mid 60’s. The homes are older, etc. Course laid out through the homes and you could walk the course if you choose to do so. Public course and as you watch the people playing there and in the club house lounge area, they are all happy and having fun.

I played after two o’clock and was able to finish 18 holes. The couple I was to play with didn’t come so I played as a single. Of course I would have pushed the people in front of me, but I was in no hurry and decided to enjoy the afternoon of golf. I played with two balls and if I didn’t like my shot I’d hit another one. When I came to the green I threw balls into the bunkers and practiced sand shots, and often putted 3-4 times per hole. Interesting layout with many of the holes built in the drainage wash. Quite a bit of up and down and a few blind shots. Overall the course is quite playable and many fairways are quite wide for the “slicer” in the group. Very few divots so I presume not a ton of play.

Older course in the hills in Beaumont. Nice club house with good lounge and eating area. Two courses--we played the one called Champions. Must keep the ball in the fairway as rough is deep and beyond the rough, you won't find your ball. Enjoyed playing the course.

Played with my wife and another couple. We are average golfers. This course fits our style of play very well. We are not long hitters, just straight and down the middle. Fun, not real long, but will challenge you if you try to over power the course.

Played Dunes course at La Quinta with 2 other coup les. Teed off about 1:30 pm and we played in about 4 1/4 hours. Pete Dye course with elevated greens are difficult to get use to. You need to be very accurate with your approach shots. Two or three of the greens had pin placement on side hill so if you missed your ball rolled 15-20 foot past-even if you just tapped it! Beautiful area and homes around the course--especially hole #12 has a home on the water just off the tee box that is as nice as you'll ever see!!

Beautiful course in great condition in unbelievable setting!

Especially friendly to lady golfers and older men who do not hit the ball a long distance off of the tee.

Course in fairly good condition. Will play it again--maybe once a week.
