The Legacy Golf Club
Played On 07/18/2023Save your money…greens are not good
Played here Tuesday …no forewarning about the greens have just been punched. Super bumpy couldn’t make a 3 foot putt without hitting any bumps I would give it a couple weeks before playing it.. fairways We’re OK definitely would not have played it knowing the greens had just been punched.
Foothills Golf Club
Played On 01/10/2023Great course
Course was is pretty fair shape… Troon took over and is doing a great job…with big changes coming…keep up the good work.. greens are in nice shape…few bad spots as usual…but they rolled smooth and were very fair…coming back next week!!

Dobson Ranch Golf Course
Played On 04/30/2022Went down hill
Play this course alot. Not any more, Course is not in good shape at all. Seems like it has been going down hill over last couple months. fways are very thin, no grass.... Tee boxes barely have grass.... and the greens do not roll well at all ....pretty beat up....Lot better courses around for a way better price. I would rather spend money in the bar than play that course,,,,The gals in the bar rock, they are why people stay there ....its not because of the golf course, just saying.
Wickenburg Ranch Golf & Social Club
Played On 01/05/2018Glorious
For all you golfers that say its to far to drive to Wickenburg Ranch...Its a long drive, its half way to Vegas. I say, do yourself a favor and take the drive because it is 1000% worth the drive, and any person that gives this place a bad review cannot be in there right mind. Guaranteed the best golf experience you will ever have in the Phoenix area. The place is the best. The rates are great, the bent grass greens were rolling 11-12 on the Stimp. Fastest and purest greens you will putt on anywhere in Arizona. Oh and the bent grass fairways are as lush as I have seen anywhere else also. Make a day of it, I mean a whole day. Get up early, hit the road and get up there and play the Litl Wick ( Best par3 course in AZ) Bent grass greens also. Then have some lunch at Jakes Spoon. Relax. Get ready for the best Golf you will have the honor of having in a long time. Play the Big Wick, and then sit on one of the comfy chill spots overlooking the 18th Hole and others, and light up a Fatty ( Cigar) and sit back and Chill and relax and take it all in. Then if you get a little chill, have one of the cute servers fire up your heater and warm up. Do the day trip to the Wick. Just Glorious
Thanks for your review of the golf course and the overall experience. I definitely recommend future visitors to give it the full treatment as you described and try the Lil Wick either before the round or after as its nothing short of excellent. Thanks again and we look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.
Kind Regards,

Foothills Golf Club
Played On 10/3/2013as of this date they only had 9 holes open, and they were not in good shape
course is getting ready to overseed..... so it was not in good shape at all....but I have played this in peak season and it is a very nice track.... so I guess we will have to wait till it gets later in the year to play it again.
San Tan Highlands
Played On 09/18/2013dry and ready to overseed
course is not in bad shape... but getting ready to overseed, so conditions were a bit shaggy and dry.... but otherwise a great course. Busy course, ive heard 5-6 hours to play here in peak season..... so think about that when getting on here in Feb or March.
McDowell Mountain Golf Club
Played On 8/26/2013Very nice course, and new clubhouse..grill and ouside bar is cool
The course overall was pretty good, but the greens were really slow and bumpy. Alot of good challenge exists out there. I would like to play it again when the greens are rolling a bit faster.
Monument at Troon North Golf Club
Played On 1/12/2013Great views on the Pinacle course.
I think for the price, 179.. and it will get to be more, as time goes on., there are alot better courses around for a cheaper price. Troon North is a course for sightseers. I was a bit disappointed in the over condition of the course, thought it would be more pristine than it was. When a person pays that kind of money, i think the course should be immaculate;;; not so here. I think everyone should play it once, and see what they think. I wont go back for that price. Too many other courses in the valley that are stars above Troon North.
We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting The Legacy Golf Club, and we hope to see you again in the future.
