Palo Verde Golf Course
Played On 06/15/2019Very good value!
I played a few days after aeration so the greens were bumpy, but the staff warned me in advance and this has to happen a couple of times every year. Beyond that, I found the course (9-holes, par 30) in surprisingly good shape. It was easy to the course is well maintained. Best "bang for the buck" I've found in years.
Hillcrest Golf Club at Sun City West
Played On 01/02/2018Surprisingly Good Greens
Hillcrest is at least two steps above most courses in the Sun City / Sun City West "retirement" areas. Less than impressive on first look -- the clubhouse and putting green area appear "spartan" at best -- the course played quite well. Tee boxes are fine, fairways more than acceptable, rough areas reasonable (spent my share of time there), but the greens rolled exceptionally well. I plan to try Hillcrest again during the core of spring training time to see if warmer weather helps the fairways without doubling the price.
Eagle's Nest Country Club at Pebble Creek Resort
Played On 03/23/2014Eagle's Nest - Great Sunday
Nice course very well maintained. Typically a bit overpriced during the year, but the rate on GolfNow ($50 / player on Sunday) was a good value in mid March. We experienced no waiting and played 18 holes in 4:10 - lost a few balls and searched a reasonable amount for each or we'd have finished in about 3:50.
Thank you for taking time to fill out the online comment card after your round. We appreciate the feedback. We hope to see you back during Spring Training when you return; we will have some of the best prices on this side of town. ~HC
