Enagic Golf Club at Eastlake

I'VE PLAYED HERE REPEATEDLY OVER THE YEARS AND RECENTLY MANAGEMENT HAS SEEN FIT TO PLACE ROPES ACROSS MOST FAIRWAYS. I KNOW IT COST $ TO MAINTAIN A COURSE BUT DON'T MAKE THAT THE GOLFER'S PROBLEM. THE ROPES DETRACT ENTIRELY FROM ANY ENJOYMENT OF THE ROUN. GET RID OF THEM.

$90 to play and no GPS? Unacceptable when so many courses have it. 5 hours to get around? I"m sorry but I won't be returning. Course is good enough but 5 hours for the round even after calling a Marshal out twice only to be told pace was OK??

IHAVE LOVED EASTLAKE FOR 25 YEARS BUT BADLY DISAPPOINTED AT COURSE CONDITIONS ON FAIRWAYS. THIN OR DIRT LIES TOO OFTEN AND TO TOP IT OFF, 6 HOLES (NOT PAR 3'S) CART PATH ONLY (CARTS MANDATORY). HOPE THEY DO SOMETHING TO BRING IT BACK

WOODSON HAS AN INTERESTING LAYOUT AND IS IN DECENT SHAPE BUT THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR A NEARLY 5HOUR ROUND ON A WEDNESDAY ESP. WITH NO TOURNAMENTS OR CLUB OUTINGS. WHERE IS THE MARSHALL TO KEEP GOLFERS MOVING?

Overall, nice course with interesting layout. Fairly tight off some tees but certainly playable. Fairways, however, are just too thin and so much so that it's tough to get a fairway wood in the air. Let them grow a bit. It's winter but let them grow out another 1/4-1/2 inch.

COURSES ( THIS INCLUDED) NEED TO SEPARATE T-TIMES BY MORE THAN 5-7 MINUTES. THE STARTER JUST LETS YOU GO WHEN THE GROUP AHEAD HAS HIT THEIR SECOND SHOT. DELAY THAT PART AND YOU'LL HAVE VERY HAPPY GOLFERS.

IN THE OVERALL, AN OK COURSE BUT FAIRWAYS CUT WAY TOO SHORT GIVING YOU TOO MANY TIGHT LIES. PACE OF PLAY DISMAL. COURSE LAYOUT IS FINE.

LOVE EASTLAKE. PLAYED IT MANY TIMES OVER THE YEARS BUT 2 AND1/2 HOURS FOR 9 HOLES FORCED ME TO QUIT AND NOT FINISH THE ROUND. VERY DISAPPOINTING. SPACE OUT T TIMES OR GET A MARSHAL TO HELP WITH PACE. NEITHER WILL HAPPEN. TOO AFRAID OF DROP IN REVENUE. 5+ HOURS FOR A ROUND ON FRIDAY - UNACCEPTABLE.

The staff at EastLake appreciates your review and the fact you enjoy playing EastLake. Unfortunately we fell short of your expectations and apologize for that. Friday 07/03/15 was not a "normal" Friday here at EastLake (or I am sure at many of the courses in the surrounding area). Since that Friday was the observed holiday for Independence Day the demand for golf was extremely high. We would love to see your return to EastLake on a day/time the demand may better meet your expectations!

COURSE HAS SOME TIGHT AND INTERESTING HOLES BUT TEES IN POOR CONDITION AND APPROACH AREAS IN FAIR CONDITION. GREENS ARE VERY DECENT. NOT WHAT I HAD HOPED.

Played On 07/03/2014SLOW ENOUGH TO QUIT AFTER 9!
This course is in good shape with very decent t boxes, fairways and greens. Bunkers need some help (sand). Starter told us (played as a twosome) that only two twosomes ahead. On fifth hole, there were 4 foursomes on the hole and thru 9, took so long we both quit (this was my birthday round!). Disappointing.

PLAYED MISSION TRAILS MANY TIMES BUT THIS 5 HR ROUNG WAS TOOOO LONG! AMBASSASORS BUT NO ONE TO INSIST PLAYER PICK UP PACE. GREAT PRICE AND HOPEFULLY WON'T RUN INTO THIS AGAIN.

Generally a decent course in good condition. Pace of play was nearly 5 hours on a WEDNESDAY! Too long by far. No Marshals on course. May not return

We are sorry that your round took 5 hours, we do strive for a 4.5 hour pace if not better at Steele Canyon. July 3 happened to be the busiest day of the year for many courses in the San Diego area, and with not much else to do because of COVID there are many novice golfers. Our marshalls did respond to both your calls, but as mentioned every single tee time from sunrise to nearly 5pm was sold out. Many people are not in a hurry to return to their sheltered lives.
