Mission Lakes Country Club

This is a beautiful course with a great design/layout. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition for late July...After playing the front nine our group decided to take a break from the heat and have lunch at the onsite cafe (Sand Wedge Cafe). This cafe has excellent food and good prices. After lunch we finished the back nine. Of the many courses I've played in the desert, this is definitely one of the best and a must play.

Played On 01/28/2023very poor course conditions.....
This course is in very poor condition....Everything from the tee box, fairway and greens are poorly maintained...I was embarrassed to have invited my friends and family to play this course....The course layout is the only nice thing about it. It has a lot of potential and could be a nice course but it certainly needs a lot of work and attention!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I golfed this course last year and it was average. It was certainly in a lot better condition than it is now....Play was very slow...the course condition was very poor and showed obvious signs of neglect....I was very disappointed today and do not have any immediate plans to play again, however, I will try again in a month or so to see if conditions have improved

Cathedral Canyon Golf Club
Played On 12/28/2019Poor decisions due to incompetence and lack of facts
On 12/28/19 at 10:00 am, I received a phone call from a subject with Cathedral Canyon's golf staff who I believe identified himself as Robert. Robert was calling to advise me that Cathedral Canyon was not honoring my 11:12 am tee time which I made for a foursome over a week ago through Golf Now. One hour before my groups paid tee time he decides to call and tell me this? In addition, he advises me my group is no longer allowed at the course…What? First of all, I don't know what he meant by "my group" because I have golfed that course a handful of times with a different mix of friends, family and colleagues. I usually book the tee times through my membership with Golf Now. Anyway, no explanation as to why my tee time was canceled nor why I was not allowed at the course. I was "thrown for a loop" and asked him if he was going to refund my money. He told me, “No, it’s not my problem. The conversation ended without any explanation for the sudden, last minute cancellation of my foursomes’ tee time. I immediately called Golf Now and attempted to cancel.... still pending. I then called the members of my foursome and gave them the bad news. They too were confused and disgusted with the lack of professionalism on behalf of Cathedral Canyon's representatives. Later that same day after speaking to some of my friends (some of who called the Cathedral Canyon Golf Shop to get an explanation) I was told two golfers in "my group" a few weeks back did not pay their green fees. Well first of all, I've always booked and paid for "my groups" green fees in advance. There was an incident a few weeks ago at Cathedral Canyon Golf Course when my paid foursome was joined by a twosome who were riding in a Cathedral Canyon Golf Cart. They knew one of the individuals in "my group” and asked if they could join us because pace of play was slow.... That is the only incident I could think of and those two golfers were not in "my group." I had no idea if they had paid the golf fees or not since they were not part of our foursome.
It should also be noted that there was no "starter" at the first tee checking receipts when my group started. I can only assume there was also no starter present when the two other individuals were at the first tee because they were golfing directly behind my group. It can only be assumed the two had paid fees since they arrived at our tee in a golf cart. I had proof of payment via receipt for all four individuals in “my group” and I could have provided that to a responsible golf course attendant if asked. I do not believe it is my responsibility to inquire whether other golfers outside my group have paid their green fees or not. Whatever reason(s) golf course personnel decided to cancel my prepaid tee time and not allow "my group" to play, their assumptions/presumptions are incorrect. Their mishandling of this incident was unfair, unprofessional and embarrassing.
In closing, I feel its my obligation/responsibility to inform my friends, family and golf colleagues of the unprofessional way this incident was handled and to advise them to avoid golfing this course.

Indian Palms Golf & Country Club - Indian/Mountain
Played On 08/03/2019Oasis Country Club
Played On 07/27/2019Hot and humid, but worth it...
The course design / layout is nice. The overall condition of the course was fair, but this rating is low mainly because of the poor condition of the greens. The greens were very rough, uneven and extremely slow making it almost impossible to make an accurate putt. Out of fairness it is off-season (Summer - Hot & Humid) so most courses are certainly not in top condition. This is a course I would play again during season time when I'm confident the course will be in prime condition.
Indian Canyons Golf Resort - South Course
Played On 07/06/2019Great course, friendly staff and spectacular views...
I golfed with my son and we both had a great time. The course to include the range and practice greens are well maintained and in great condition especially for this time of year. Doesn't look like too much needs to be done before season time. The course design and location are very nice with spectacular views. Everything from check-in to check-out were perfect. The staff, to include the course Marshall were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely play again and refer friends and family golfers.
We appreciate you leaving a review and rating us. We will inform the entire team, so they know their hard work is paying off. We look forward to having you back at Palm Desert Resort Country Club!
