Sad!!! Have had some great experiences on this golf course but today was an extreme disappointment. Course was in terrible shape and hard to take seriously! Greens were painfully slow, fairways/pitching areas had dollar weed infestation, and bunkers were sandless. Highlight was that we teed off on the back and zipped through the round, even though the course was jammed with people. Great Ron Garl layout but if it's a joke round at least have a cart girl with cold beverages to provide some weekend relief!

Paid 70$, got to the first tee ( our group likes to play early) and even though our tee time was up we were told (rudely) that the men's game was running late and we were pushed back 10-15 min. No big deal, 45 min later we teed off, starter had no control over the men whom were supposedly playing in the men's game. Play was extremely slow, almost to the point one of my group members walked off. Greens rolled OK , fairways were fine but it just scruffy, patchy around the greens. NOT WORTH 70$

Overall, golf course was in fair shape for our summer climate and the volume of rounds they get. However pace of play was horrendous and the staff made no effort in trying to speed up play. For a famous resort course I expected a better course and staff experience.

Positive-course was in good shape for Florida mid summer..wet but greens were in good shape.

Negative- in off season staff didn't seem to care, no bag drop service, limited cart girl and starter didn't pair people up to improve pace of play.

If you have the choice play Palmer over saddlebrook course.

Greens were slow and fairways bare. Just not in good shape overall but a good layout.

Nice course but no way worth 105$$$$, must be that TPC logo.
