Nashville National Golf Links
Played On 04/24/2020Amazing course
I almost don't want to write this review because I don't want everyone to know about this place.
Everything, from the owners and management, to the GPS carts, to the practice range and green, to the course itself is amazing. There are times after a big rain that areas become a bit wet. For a hilly course on a river you almost expect that.
Pace of play is amazing. I play very fast. I can get a round in in about 2 hours by myself. People will always let you play through.
The carts are amazing, with built in GPS and bluetooth speakers. They even have golf cart scooters now. I haven't tried that, but I want to. The best in social distancing.
The only thing I can cut them on a little is course conditions, and it's not their fault, it is just that rainy time of year. But everything else that they are doing is working great, The fairways are easy to hit off of. The greens are fast, but nice. The strange part of this course is 9 and 10 are nowhere near the club house, so you can't stop at the turn.
I do wish they had some more expendables in the pro shop, could just be that time of year. But I'd like to have a choice of more than 3 kinds of balls. Some hats would be nice, etc. But knowing that I bring what I need anyways.
Pebble Brook Golf Course
Played On 04/22/2020Updated review
Yesterday I had a bad experience with Pebble Brook. The issues were overly sanded greens, rude customer service, and being charged fro an additional cart. After a long conversation with management about these issues, I feel they are being resolved. Yes, there are some issues, but it is great to see an owner who is being very proactive to fix them.
This is a very fun course to play. I've been golfing here on and off for over 5 years and almost always have a flawless experience. I look forward to playing here again.
Sycamore Golf Club

Got there as it started pouring so I expected slightly off conditions. There was some water on some fairways which affected drive distance for sure. But other than that the fairways were in good shape. There were a couple greens under repair but it didn't affect any of my shots. Overall it's a fun course that starts out relatively easy and forgiving on the front nine and makes you place your shots more accurately on the tougher back nine.
Fun course, I will be back and it shows they are trying to improve it.
Links Course at Paso Robles
Played On 08/06/2017Fun course
Played 18 at this course on a windy day. Fun links style course that had some deep bogs to avoid, but wide fairways. A ball hit outside the fairway would roll forever on the hard ground with unpredictable bounces, which in some cases took a lot of yardage off a hole. Course conditions were fine, the greens ran true. The practice green was a solid representation of the real greens. Some of the fairways were a bit dry and at times tough to play off of, but those areas were few and far between. They are building a new pro shop so looking forward to coming back when that is done. The breakfast burrito was a perfect turn snack. Good value for the price.
