Royal St. Kitts Golf Club
Played On 03/22/2024Good island vacation course
A nice course but overpriced. Nice layout with some beautiful views of the ocean. Fairways in decent shape considering the climate, but the rough was very weedy. Greens were in good shape but very slow, took a while to adjust to.

Considering the climate, course conditions were pretty much as expected – rough was rough, fairways dry. The greens were in very good condition, although very slow. Hardly anybody on the course which surprised me, but we found out that late March is pretty much after their peak season. Go to Golfnow for a reduced rate if you can and save a few bucks. I would definitely play here again if we returned to the island.
Shell Point Golf Club
Played On 11/12/2019One of the best!
I go to Fort Myers every year for a week of golf. I had played Shell Point several years ago before it was upgraded, so wasn’t expecting a lot. It was a nice course back then, just nothing special. Wow, what a surprise! The course was incredible, probably the best I’ve played in the area. The greens are definitely the best I’ve ever played on. The front nine had recently reopened after being renovated so we expected it would be nice, but with one (picky) exception the back nine was just as nice. One fairway on the back was a little hard with uneven growth, but that only stands out because the rest of the course was so beautiful. The one issue that took away from the experience just a little was the on-going construction. Shell Point is a huge residential and extended care facility, and it’s being expanded. As a result, major construction is occurring off the course. The only impacts were cart path detours on a couple holes, and the range was closed. No playing areas were affected though, so it was easy to ignore the construction. Overall a fantastic course, now clearly at the top of our list.
Magnolia Landing Golf & Country Club
Played On 11/10/2014Beautiful, challenging course. We'll worth it.
I loved everything about the course. Conditions were excellent, with nice, rolling fairways, with some elevation differences, not a boring flat Florida course. Water on almost all holes, in some cases a big factor. We played the gold tees (6525 yds) which were very challenging. My only complaint - not one ball washer on the whole course.
