Tee time was 11:30 on a Fri am. Went off on time. Front nine was 2 hours and 45 mins. When we made the turn the starter had the gall to say something about how long it took. We waited EVERY SINGLE SHOT on the group in front of us who were hacking down the fairway and rarely in position with the group in front of them. There was no Marshall to keep things moving. Thankfully they left after 9 and the back was 2 hours-just what it should be. Anyone who has ever played here knows that the course bogs down on #4 and #6. Here’s my deal-don’t admonish me for slow play when we are waiting every shot and there’s no marshaling. There’s are reasons we don’t play this course regularly despite living within a half an hour and this is one of them. The other is the “No outside drink/coolers rule”. It was 95 out and never saw cart girl until 9th tee. There are also no ice chests on the carts to keep whatever you buy cold. Difficult on hot days
With that being said, the course was in great shape and the greens rolled perfect. Rough was up making it challenging. $75 green fee is standard/average.

The course was in excellent shape. Greens perfect and rolled well-fairly quick. Played late on a Sunday morning and got it done in a little over 4 hours. Saw a Marshall monitoring things a few times. Haven’t played here in a while due to the last couple times the staff coming off as arrogant and unfriendly especially the pro shop. Don’t care how great a course is, if the staff are a bunch of jerks I refuse to give them my time and money. Our experience today was anything but. Will add back to our regular rotation based on today’s round for sure

Haven’t played here in 4-6 months due to green fees being a little on the high side throughout the day on the weekends. But they were much more reasonable starting mid morning this last week so decided to give it a go. It’s always been a great layout-great holes, lots of fun. The greens were in great shape as was most of the course. They have also made lots of improvements to the grill, driving range, and they have new carts. Hats off to the “newish” owner!! $60-65 is a good/very fair value for what you get here

Great course at a great value. A few dry spots but not where it mattered (mostly on edges of tee boxes but not the actual tees themselves). Greens were perfect. Fairways as well. A little slow-waited on almost every shot. Could see a couple of open holes in front of us. I'm sure a marshal would have been helpful-never saw one. Great layout-challenges all aspects of your game. Always love eating in restaurant after-really good food

The course was in GREAT shape. Played in 4 hours-went off at 7:45 on a Sat. am. $79 green fee at this time of the year on the weekend is basically unmatched in the Palm Springs area for a course of this quality with all the amenities. Stopped and had lunch the Fishermans Wharf next to the pro shop before leaving. Perfect day!

A must play. Stunning views, immaculate shape. Tough course,especially if you don't have first hand knowledge of the greens. Only down side was pace of play-5 1/2 hours on a Friday afternoon. No marshals. If you remember where you are and what you're doing, it'll take the pain of how slow it is and make it a little easier to swallow

This is an absolutely awesome course. Always in wonderful shape with a great practice facility. If you choose to eat in the restaurant afterward, the whole day becomes an entire "experience". I gave the pace of play one star BUT there was a group of 16 or so in front of us (4 foursomes). The marshal knew we were 2 deep on the tee boxes so at the turn they offered to let us jump ahead 3-4 holes past the log jam OR go play the Players course which had no one on it. My point is-they were very accommodating to make sure we had a good time. Not many courses would do this. We are now Customers For Life!!

Haven't played here in a few months but have always been used to it being in great condition even tho there is a drought. Was expecting the same but got a huge shock. Fairways were awful in a lot of places-nothing basically but dirt. Alot of the edges of the fairways were dirt or dead grass as well. Had a lot of bad lies as a result. Tee boxes were okay-greens were in very good condition. Not very crowded on a Sat morning-I'm sure course conditions have a lot to do with it. Felt like a muni-not worth $55 green fee

Every time I play here I keep hoping beyond hope that my experience will be different but it never is because it really is a fun layout with great greens. BUT that's where the good stuff ends. The pace of play kills any enjoyment that could be had. They were 45 minutes behind when we got there and we were 2 deep on every tee box (sometimes 3) all day long. And this is normal. It would have been a 6 hour round but we never even finished because of darkness. They overbook like crazy and allow 5-somesomes. Need I say more. We played here because my son was home from college and used to play a lot of his high school golf here so he wanted to revisit old memories. He was hugely disappointed. So, I can safely say I am done ever playing here again. There are to many other good courses out there that care about your overall experience. This one doesn't

Had an 11:30 tee time. Went off 30 mins late. 5 1/2 hour round- finished in the dark. Need I say more? When your 3 deep on a par 5 there's definitely a problem. There's are Marshalls but apparently they don't get the job done. Course has gone done in its overall condition. Used to be a great place-not anymore. Too bad-wont go back

This is an awesome course and always one of our favorites. It's everything a course should be. Every hole is different and challenging in a different way. Always in great shape. Love to spend time on the patio afterwards with a cold one watching players come in on 18-great food too
