Good course

We played on a Fall Saturday afternoon, first time playing the course. Greens were hard but darn near perfect, and matched the putting green. Fairways were excellent and rough was tough and thick. Great wildlife and scenery.
There's several blind uphill tee shots, so some information on yardages and preferred placement would be extremely helpful. Also there are overgrown limbs directly in front of the white tees on 2 of those holes, making the course completely different than from the back tees. Please insert the plastic cup deeper into the Earth, they were all placed even with the ground. On #2 I hit a beautiful flop shot that came down on the edge of the hole and it struck the cup, bouncing the ball 10' up and 25' long and left.

It's still a great course and some small maintenance changes would change my overall to a 5 star.

Worth playing if you live near

My buddies and I played King's Creek Saturday afternoon 6/20/2020, and it hadn't rained in 2 weeks. I got a "Hot Deal" for $32 a head, and it's definitely worth that price on a weekend. The greens were obviously in rough shape due to inability to mow and I guess nobody that plays there fixes their divots. Each hole plays great with trouble looming and a lot of bunkers. No putting green really, but the range was good. There's no markers on each hole showing you what the hole looks like, and no descriptions on the scorecard, which made the course difficult for a first timer. I will play it again if the price is right, but there's no reason to pay $50 or drive very far to play it.

Hidden gem

This course is worth the drive from Nashville in my opinion. I got a twilight tee time Sunday evening by myself the day before, the starter paired me with a father and son duo who were about my skill level and helped me around the course. This course rewards good shots and penalizes bad ones, holes are rarely side by side so there's no hitting in a different fairway and still playing your hole. I like the course setup with several go for it or layup decisions and the par 3's are very cool looking shots with either elevated tees or elevated greens. For the twilight price of less than $40, it's the best value I've ever encountered and the greens held and ran true. 5 stars
