Rolling Meadows Country Club
Played On 08/06/2021Great Value
Played on a Friday early AM as a single. Tees off around 7:15 and finished in just over 2 hours. Despite being off early the pins were all set, the greens blown dry, and they were out cutting the fairways. This is not a country club course, but the value is excellent. $34 with tax and cart for 18 holes. The greens were rolling true and in great shape, the signage was good, the fairways were cut nicely. The layout is good, not too many quirky holes. It’s a par 70, so a short track. There are some challenging holes. Course would be fun for beginners as well as better golfers. I will definitely play again for the price played.
Rio Pinar Golf
Played On 02/16/2018Great value, fun track!
I very much enjoyed my round. I went out at 7am as a single, only one twosome in front of which I quickly passed. Pace of course is no issue when you play at this time as a single. Staff in pro shop was friendly and welcoming, joked with me at the turn that I was trying for a speed record. Conditions were better than average. Tee boxes 8 & 9 were in poor shape, but you could tell they were working on them. Greens ran true, but slow, again likely due to AM tee time and few. They did speed up on the back nine. Fairways were generally in good shape but thin in a few areas. Overall very good conditions. Layout is really fun, definitely an older track but plenty of variation. Back nine is more interesting in layout and more challenging. Plenty of tee box options for big hitters down to juniors/etc. paid only $29 for the round on GolfNow. A gr at round for that value. Location close to the airport for those traveling does not hurt! I will be back.

Course is set thru homes and urban areas, so fairways are a bit tight in places. Overall a good design and in good shape. Staff is very friendly, and amenities are good. Great value course.
