Slow Golf

I don't have too many complaints about the course itself. The fairways are in good condition, the rough has patches of bare ground. The sand traps are very hard and the golf ball sits up in the bunker.

Golfing at this course will try your patience. My group arrived an hour before our tee time to get in some short game work on the practice green and the chipping area. Both are in very nice condition, if a little small. About 20 minutes before our round we checked in and paid the green fees (and also scored a free small range bucket through Yelp). The range only had one open lane, so we each hit a few practice balls. With about 10 minutes to go we to load our gear into a cart, and realize there was only 1 cart available. We had to wait for another group to finish in order for a cart to be freed up. Got to the 1st tee and there was a group already waiting. That became the story of the day. We kept up with the group in front of us, who was keeping up with the group in front of them, and yet we had another group at our heels and shooting into us at times. Played about 4 hours worth of golf and still only finished 17 holes. Definitely not going back.

On a side note, we never saw the beverage cart during our round. Very disappointing.
