Hadn't played the course in a couple of years because others I play with think it's a little too hard, primarily the putting. Green were not as quick as the past and that made the putting easier. Enjoyed the round as the pace of play was great.

Course was in good shape but play was a bit slow. Played North/South. South has some funky holes. Would have preferred to play the East but didn't get to chose. Will probably return.

Course was in fair condition. Fairways a little thin in places and the greens mostly slow and bumpy. Overpriced for the conditions. Pace of play was very slow. Have played it before under better conditions.

Pleasantly surprised to play in just under 4 hours. Course conditions were good except for the greens and bunkers. Greens were extremely bumpy and the grass a little too long, resulting in some missed putts that would normally be made. Bunkers were also very hard with very little sand to get under the ball. Despite these drawbacks, it was a fairly enjoyable round, somewhat due to the expectation of slower play not being realized.

Rio Hondo is in great condition. Fairways and greens were well kept and a pleasure to play. Being a weekday morning, the pace of play was super. Nice course for the money.

Royal Vista is a decent course for your money. Greens were in good condition as well as the tees. Fairways are in fair condition. Course offers enough of a challenge for most golfers and played at a good pace on a Sunday. One pin placement was a bit unfair as it was placed almost at the crest of a steep inclide. Ball came back twice, even though it got within 18" of the hole. Some fairways have little flat area to land the ball.

Course was in excellent shape with great fairways and super greens(recovered nicely from plugging). Good course to build confidence off the tee as it has very wide fairways. Enough water and sand to make it challenging.

Course was well maintained and enjoyable to play. Still some remnents of the green aeration but not too bad. For a Sunday, the pace of play was acceptable.

Good variation of holes to present a good challenge.

Unfortunately, the day was extremely windy which detracted from the play of the course. Really want to go back when its a better day. Otherwise, greens were fast and true and the fairways were better than a lot of courses this time of year. However, on several fairways, their slope punished a good shot by taking a well hit ball into a water hazard. This happened at least four times in total.

Definitely very challenging greens. Fast going down and slow going up with very little flat spots.

Course was in poor condition with little grass on the fairways. It was so thin it was better to be in the rough than the fairway. Greens were very bumpy. Definitely not worth the money. Used to play this course often. Won't go back for a long time.

Flat with some water. A little more challenging from the blue tees. Greens were in good condition with the fairways fair. A couple of the pin placements were in difficult spots. Pace of play was great for a Sunday(although the weather may have contributed to this). Good course to build your confidence on.

Course is in good shape, especially the greens. Play was a little slow in the beginning due to a number of walkers but picked up after the turn. Some difficulty in finding balls off the fairway due to the falling leaves at this time. For the money, a decent value.

Course was still recovering a little from green maintenance. Pace of play was way too slow with some tees backed up two deep. Too many fivesomes for a Sunday. Would like to come back when the greens are fully recovered and on a day when it isn't quite as busy.

Half of each green was recently plugged. The half that was done previously was quick and true while the half that was recently plugged was slower and bumpy. Made for difficult putts when you had to go through both sides. Understand plugging is necessary and that eventually these greens should be in great shape. Other than that, the course was in good shape and a good challenge. Will play it again after the greens have time to heal.

Challenging course not for the high handicapper. A number of blind shots that could be a problem for a first time player. Greens were moderately fast but true. Rewards shots kept in play and penalizes you if you stray.

If you're having difficulty with your game, this is a good course to play. It's relatively short with only a few holes to really get in trouble on. It's a good confidence builder. On the other hand, if your game is in top form, it won't be challenging.
