I read some of these reviews and I still cant believe that people even waste their time and money coming here. This place is Horrible!!! The only thing that I can say is maintained on this course are the greens. Everything else is garbage. The fairways are non-existent. You can differentiate the fairway from the roughest of roughs. Some of the tee boxes aren’t even level, so your driving off of unleveled surfaces. In conclusion, this place really sucks.

So this course was closed for several months due to course renovations. But to be completely honest, I saw deterioration rather than renovation. The tee boxes are disgusting. The fairways were horrible. The only thing that was OK were the greens. I would not spend another dollar to play at this course with so many better options in town for less. The only thing you pay for here is The Name.

For some reason I really enjoy playing the Senator course because it really tests every aspect of your game from the short game, to your Driving distance and even your putting skills. The seventh hole is a Par 5 with an island green which really tests the big sticks in your bag. And when you make the turn get ready to step up your game because there's more water back there than fairways. This course is really fun to play.

Make sure to leave your slice at home. This course is competitive and long, straight drives create easier approach shots for lower scores on the card. Greens are very well kept. Did I mention tons of hazards course wide?
