Rocky Bayou has an excellent practice area for full shots, practice area for chipping and bunker play plus a challenging putting area. Greens were true and fast. For winter conditions no complaints and you can see the grounds staff are doing a good job at maintaining the tee blocks, fairways and greens. This course meanders through the community of houses but not in the way of the fairways, divided by the waterways to separate the course in an almost cottage country setting. Again liked it a lot.

Enjoyed the Floridian round of golf here and would recommend it to anyone who can play good golf. You can see why decent tournaments have been held here. Staff were very friendly including the GM.

Enjoyed every hole on this course with the fairways, greens and Tee blocks in very good condition for the time of year. Most courses are dormant but Blackstone has been oversewed and fairways, greens and Tees are in near summer condition.

Top notch greens rolled straight and true. Fairways in winter condition Tee blocks all good for this time of year. Bunker sand is top notch and consistent throughout only by observation as i only landed in one of them.

Played the golf course as a single with temps of 40F to 48F and little wind which being a Canuck was not a real problem for me. Shot 78 from the whites and made lots of putts and close chips because I was sufficiently warm and relaxed since not playing since early November in Ottawa. Staff were friendly including the grounds guys who were all out there working in the cold for them no doubt. Winter conditions on the course but still good overall.

Have played the Pines once before and we enjoyed the Oaks better. Nice lay out and greens are big and in good condition. Fairways are good for this time of year. Tee blocks are not sufficiently flat with uneven lies.

Course is in great condition, bunkers are excellent, lots of water to play away from but the greens are the very best around in the Destin area. I have played this course about 4 times now and compared to others it stands out as a cut above. Great practice facility and practice greens to help you prepare for round. Staff are excellent and friendly. You are made to feel welcome at Indian Bayou.

The temperature was about 68F and a little foggy and after a heavy rain the night before. Greens are very good and fairways in good condition for this time of year....still dormant but coming back. Some nice carry shots over water and beautiful views of the Bay. Second time playing here and will go back again. Bunkers were very playable. Staff are all helpful and friendly and you are made to feel very welcome at the Links. Grounds Staff were out clearing up debris from the wind/rain storm the night before and did not interfere with our play. Kudos to the Links.
