Charging full price for my wife to ride with me in the cart
was definitely extreme.Half of 30.00 would be more fair.
Thanks for playing at Hibiscus Golf Club on Christmas Day. Please understand that a rider on a golf cart is taking the place of a potential full price paying golfer on a tee time. Our rider fees are less than half of the green fees. Hope to see you again at Hibiscus!

Great starter,pro shop guy very friendly.Was told,when I called for information my wife could ride along as long as there was enough carts
When we arrived at the course,the pro shop said I would have to pay the extra price for her to ride along because they were busy.The night before,when I called they said if we played with a twosome, there would be no charge for her.
We played with a twosome and we were charged.There was a threesome in front of us.They each had a cart for themselves.Asking the starter what gives and were told they were equity members and could do what ever they wanted.I understood that two of those carts were owned by the players,but give me a break,for them to play as a
threesome,with there own cart is a joke When we finished our close to 5 hr round there 7 carts sitting there empty.l

Thank you so much for your review, however, we are sorry that your recent experience was not the best at Palmetto-Pine Country Club. Our policy is that we only charge for a rider fee if an extra golf car is used. Sometimes there can be movement on the tee sheet that changes after check-in (singles being moved by the starter a case in point). We are sorry for this inconvenience and would like to offer you a complimentary round for you and your wife as a rider to allow you to enjoy what PPCC truly has to offer. Please contact Tal, General Manager, at (239) 574-2141 to arrange this. With regard to private member-owned carts, there are rules that apply to all players; however, we have found that with specific member groups that have preferred access needs allowing them to take three carts assists the pace of play, which is one of our player assistant's priorities here at Palmetto-Pine.

Called up course to book a tee time.Told them I was a single player and asked them if my wife could ride along with me.Said she could for 25.00 extra.
Fair enough. Booked a time for 8.16.Next morning,drove to the course for an hour.We arrived there to be greeted by the bag guy,who was very unfriendly
and directed to the pro shop.The pro shop person,who was also very rude informed me my wife could not go along until late afternoon,because it was busy.
Would have been nice if they let me know the night before.No sorry for your troubles.
Very bad experience.Definitely would not recommend this course.
