The golf course is located on an island, so you should expect water, lots and lots of water. This course has a lot of tight fairways and tight holes blocked out by water. Take the time to ride up and check your second shot off the fairway. My buddy and I played the course in three hours. There was no one in front of us. We expected more players on a Friday. It was a nice surprise.

The course is in full aeration mode for the greens. They appears to be having some overgrowth problems with weeds on the greens as well. If you see a break, hit it straight. Also early in the morning the greens are very slow with the sand. As the days warms up they get a little faster. When you are playing in these conditions, you need to make the hole a little bigger, The group I was playing with expanded the hole by 3 inches and called anything in that circle good. You are trying to have fun, you don't need bad greens wrecking your day. The fairways were in good shape.

The fairways were some of the best I've ever played on. The greens still showed signs of aeration. This is a very difficult course. If you are playing it for the first time, you might want to play from one set of tees up from what you normally play. There is trouble everywhere. There is a lot of trouble you don't see. The carts have a GPS system that gives a pretty accurate picture of the layout for each hole. However, it won't tell you the elevation from side to side of the fairways and greens and that's where you will find severe trouble. There is a lot of water on this course. Bring your water wings.

When we got to he course we found out they where arrating the front and only letting golfers on the back nine. So you had to play the back nine twice. You should only have to play the back nine of this course only one time on a day. As we turned to play the second nine they were letting other golfers on. The course got really jammed. On a hot day you don't want to be waiting on the tee for every shot.

This was my first time playing Royal St. Cloud. Played the White and Red 9 hole courses. The Blue was being aerated. The White course was in excellent shape. Play was a little slow until the group ahead of us let us play through. The Red course was more difficult. The green on the Red course had a lot of sand on them. There were no delays on the Red course. My one complaint is the guys mowing the White course has absolutely no consideration for golfers. They could care less if you were teeing off or putting on the green or hitting from the fairway. Even though it was super hot our, overall I enjoyed the experience.

The tee boxes and fairways were in excellent condition. They were doing seasonal maintenance on the greens. I found the front nine easier than the back nine. The front is a par 35 with the back a par 37 and three very difficult par five holes.

First off, this was a beautiful day. The course was in excellent shape. $39 to play Shingle Creek....are you kidding me? What a treat.

I’ve played this course many times and have never seen it this bad of shape. With that said I understand what they are going through and I’m glad they are open. I will continue to support them. Maybe a little work on the greens?

This was the best day of my week. Please do whatever you can to stay open. We need you. It was so great to be outside and doing something physical.

The greens were very fast and in farily good condition for this time of year. It rained really hard the night before, but the course drained very well. There was only one hole that you had to use cart path only. I have always found the course layout challenging. It's only taken me 10 years to figure out how to play Hole number 2. It's one of my favorite courses in Central Florida.

If you like lots of water, this is your course. The views of the lake were spectacular . If you play smart you can avoid the water. There are a couple of holes I didn’t see the water for my approach shot and went in. Fortunately the gators were friendly. Just kidding, stay away from them. Played 18 holes in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Well worth the adventure..

The course was in really good shape. I was behind a tournament group which made play a little slower than usual. I was really impressed with the greens. Probably the best I’ve seen. I’ve played the course about 10 times.

The course is tight so you need to be accurate. The good news is it’s nir very long. The greens were in excellent shape. Pace was great. They did a nice job of staggering the groups. I look forward to playing Dubs again.
